  2. I remember that. As the saying goes a poor tradesman always blames his tools. I am guessing your ability to combine light, subject, and composition to capture a great image is still a work in progress which was the point of the comment. I encourage you to keep at it and aspire to produce images like I was able to with my Nokia 7650 (see below?

    Any New Jokes

Can't remember if I posted this before but 😊
  4. Most likely, he did not. I recall him once saying his Nokia phone took better pictures than my Nikon DSLR and film SLRs…anyone with such logic should always be given special treatment…now if he had said Apple IPhone, or the Samsung A15, I might give him some cred… 555

  6. I realise that, just wanted to clear it up I case bust didn’t understand

  8. Well yeah, that is more less what I meant…. The difficult meat to get here is good/decent lamb. A lot of the Arab/Halal markets tend to have decent lamb and much cheaper than the big supermarkets. Costco has decent lamb, Halal imported from Australia or New Zealand. Costco up in Marin, one of the richest counties in the USA, has Kobe and Wayne from time to time, $200+ for 1 steak…looks like more fat than anything…I mean how good can it really be at that price..?
  9. Wicked Little Letters [2023] When people in 1920's Littlehampton begin to receive letters full of hilarious profanities, a rowdy Irish migrant is charged with the crime. Suspecting that something is amiss, the town's women investigate. A profanity laden ball of fun well worth a look.
  10. Damaged [2024] A Chicago detective, travels to Scotland to link up with a Scottish detective, following the resurgence of a serial killer who's crimes match an unsolved case that he looked into 5 years previous in Chicago. Don't let the Scottish scenery or established actors deceive you. This is schoolboy error lower grade movie making.
  11. Finestkind [2023] A crew of fishermen tread dangerous waters when their debts start piling up. A real mixed bag this one, kudos for some great scenes and camera work offshore but the characters onshore and plot are hard to fathom with some top talent playing a b-rate script. Enjoyable feel good crime drama nevertheless.
  12. Scoop [2024] How the BBC obtained the interview with Prince Andrew about his friendship with convicted sex offender Epstein. The story is already well known and re-dramatizing it might seem superfluous, but somehow it works.
  13. The Burial [2023] Inspired by true events, a lawyer helps a funeral home owner save his family business from a corporate behemoth, exposing a complex web of race, power, and injustice. Two excellent leads command an enjoyable courtroom drama that is full of emotions, humor and never dulls despite the usual cliched feel good gotchas. Worth a look.
  14. Masters Of The Air [2024 TV Limited Series] During World War II, five miles above the ground and behind enemy lines, ten men inside an aluminum bomber known as a "Flying Fortress" battle antiaircraft flak and unrelenting flocks of German fighters. Nine part series has the signature Spielberg style stamped all over it which can seem both impressive and tiresome. Excessive CGI adds to the tedium and the characters are two dimensional. Occasionally engaging, but mostly dull corporate TV for the masses. A yawn fest.
  15. The Deceived [2020 TV Series] A student falls for her married lecturer at Cambridge. When he mysteriously disappears, she tracks him down and discovers that his wife has died in a fire in Ireland. A four part UK Channel 5 series, hopefully no more series are planned as one can feel somewhat deceived with the top line actors appearing in a mediocre and twisted plot.
  16. Monster [2023] A mother demands answers from her son's teacher when her son begins acting strangely. Discovering that a teacher is responsible, she storms into the school demanding to know what's going on. But as the story unfolds through the eyes of mother, teacher and child, the truth gradually emerges. A strong Japanese drama that is somewhat lacking in the editing work but has several mesmerizing performances in a whodunit worth seeing.
  17. I wouldn’t go that far, in Thailand there is a marked difference in quality between local and imported beef and even I can tell the difference between a $2 Bottle of wine and a $20 Bottle. People can tell the difference between good and bad, but they cannot tell the difference between good and alleged better than good, i.e. Aussie Beef V Wagyu or a $20 Bottle v $200 Bottle of wine
  18. I am not a big fan of steak, most beef in general really. I think past a certain point, there is a big snob appeal when it comes to “wine and cuisine” with most people really not knowing the difference between good and bad…
  19. Ah right, I was just playing along in case Bust didn’t get it…
  20. Even I got that one 😊
  21. It was a play on the a court scene with the glove “it doesn’t fit”
  22. He supposedly had a serious case of Prostate cancer…so he probably couldn’t fuck for awhile and maybe was incontinent, shitting and pissing on himself…if that comforts you555. Never really respected him…funny in the police squad movies…wife was supposedly a real coke slut cunt, but no reason to murder her…but as Chris Rock said “…I understand…” To Paraphrase Chris Rock, “…if he wasn’t famous, if he drove a bus, he wouldn’t even be OJ, he’d be Oranthal the bus driving murderer…” That is how we should remember him…
  23. A Vietnamese man and a Jewish man are waiting in the Doctor’s office for an appointment and as the time goes on they become more and more irritated until finally the Jewish man says, “I hate you Vietnamese people!”. Shocked, the Vietnamese man says, “What in the world would compel you to say something like that? Why do you hate Vietnamese people?” To which the Jewish man replies, “Because you bombed Pearl Harbor!” The Vietnamese man goes, “You idiot! That wasn’t the Vietnamese, that was the Japanese!” To which the Jewish man shrugs and says, “Vietnamese, Japanese, what’s the difference?” Stunned, the Vietnamese man says, “Yeah, well I hate all you Jewish people!” To which the Jewish man replies in great indignation, “That’s anti-Semitic! Why would you hate all Jewish people?” And the Vietnamese man says, “Because you sank the Titanic!” “You idiot,” bawls the Jewish man, “That was an iceberg!” To which the Vietnamese man replies, “Iceberg, Goldberg, what’s the difference?”

Gee I hope this is not Gaza related given this area has a large Jewish population. A shopping centre in Sydney's east has been evacuated amid reports of stabbings and potentially a number of deaths. NSW Police said emergency services were called to Westfield Bondi Junction just before 4pm after reports of multiple people being stabbed. "A critical incident has commenced following the shooting of male at Bondi Junction," police said in a statement. It said an operation was underway with shoppers being evacuated. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-04-13/westfield-bondi-junction-evacuated-after-alleged-stabbing/103705022
  25. Normally you would think it gets exported to Japan but their wagyu is even more expensive. At a bit of a loss as to how you would ever recoup that kind of investment considering they are bread and fed for consumption.
