Mississippi - 70% of poison control calls, relate to people, taking Ivermectin purchased from feed stores and ingested to fight the Covid virus, because Fox told them to.

    good

Amazing lack of Ivermectin loons here. Other Thai forums are stuffed with them and their mad conspiracy theories

    shame on you all

Fully vaccinated Biontec/ Johnson et al -customers also die, but very very few. Some also die from being vaccinated with whatever. Looking at the whole picture these events are meaningless. Hundred-thousands would die without vaccine.

I do not care whether Sinovac is great or not, I am only trying to support facts within an increasing jungle of  lies and rumours and misunderstandings. To be sure whether or not something does a good job or not needs throwing a wide net to catch reality. Details matter.

    Bloomberg.com :

" Indonesia found that Sinovac Biotech Ltd.’s Covid-19 vaccine was less effective at protecting against death and severe illness in April to June, compared with the previous three months.

The shots prevented 79% of deaths and 53% of hospitalization in April to June, compared with 95% and 74%, respectively, in January to March, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, spokeswoman for the government’s Covid-19 task force, said in a briefing on Friday. She didn’t give a reason for the drop in the vaccine’s effectiveness. "

Where do your read that it is ineffective against the Delta-strain? I do also believe ( after having read a lot of comments) that it is less effective, but still much better than nothing.

people just want it easy, don’t they?

they see that 51% figure and hold on to that, not understanding what that figure means, how it was calculated and when it was conducted etc

    Same with Pfizer Vs AZ

Pfizer must be “better” than AZ due to those initial efficacy figures from 2020

  3. Used to be a regular in Eden a decade and a half  ago. But as the years went by, the girls got more “professional” and worse looking and the whole places got that boiler room vibe.

Daisy Dream Is an arse licking place, is it?

  4. I am off there in a couple of weeks. I wanted to go to Vientiane really and sit by the Mekong in a beergarden drinking BeerLao

do they have this kind of place in Nong Khai?

  5. This forum was a great resource for me when I first moved here in 2007. I always get a vague nostalgic thrill when I log on here, remembering those times.

living in Huai Kwang in a 22m studio, 3,900 a month and walking every night down Asoke to Nana or cowboy

I only knew two Thai dishes, so lived off Kra Pow moo 3 times a day from the condo cafe. (The Tom Yum was terrible there)

might go for a walk down there this week

    *sigh*

Gentlemen, my confidence in public statements of the wise Thai government is virtually endless. I am therefore still worried about the numbers that are available from Johns Hopkins saying 29 new infections yesterday totalling 2800 alltogether.

Does anybody know about the secret that keeps numbers ridiculously low in the kingdom? Burning joss-sticks?

Good personal hygiene, hot climate, healthy population, less virulent strain

and Thais aren’t constantly slobbering over each other like Italians

Hajj to Mecca will be even more so.

Well it won’t happen until the borders are open.

Probably not very interesting at all.

    unless you mean something else?

  8. - 29 new confirmed #COVID19 cases (2,672 total)
    - 96 more discharged (1,593)
    - 3 more deaths (46)

so how will they go about loosening the restrictions?

Provence by Provence, keeping the borders closed. Getting the internal economy open again?

  9. Won’t be long before all the restaurants are closed in Pattaya. Police are already doing the rounds and closing places at random.
there is one beer bar near to me that is operating almost completely in plain sight, they aren’t even pretending to serve food

Prayut devolved power to order closures elsewhere to provincial level.

Chonburi provincial government has ordered closure of all entertainment venues 18-31 March 31st, 2020.  Pattaya go sleep now.

Bars are still open this afternoon, I guess they are claiming that are restaurants?
