1. Actually not, but may as well be. On screen for about 1.5 seconds about 48 minutes in...
2. I told ya to go short on it, didn't I?
3. The rest is fine. I have serious issues with this however. It circumvents democracy -- who the people want to elect should be sacrosanct. I.e., we already have term limits: they are called elections. Now if you want to say something like "no serving member of the Federal Government can work for a company with ties to the Federal Government for five years before & after their tenure," then I'd go for that. EDIT -- Re-reading, I have an issue with #8 as well. Contracts are contracts, and are legally binding or the whole economic system flushes down the toilet (moreso than it is now). If they are broken, then some restitution has to be paid. That was certainly the GOP's stance on the Wall Street Billion$ bonuses using TARP money (gee, so figure: GOPers know why they are in office), even tho' not so much when it came to union contracts (once again, go figure. GOPers think: fuck the $15/hr guy since nothing will happen if they do!!!).
4. The point is is that is does. Moreso than any other POTUS ever. He's had Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, etc. stuff going on. The burns the TeaBaggers asses then too bad. You said it yourself: respect them all, or none. I'd prefer none. But to tell lies about what he is doing is just beneath you Flash.
5. Hmmmm. Gee. Reagan and Poppy Bush didn't issue official Easter proclamations either per this hard rightwing source. I'll look forward to Fox's report on why they all hated Christianity and their kudos to Obama for lubing it too mutt. LOL!
6. Seems a good time to go long and "short" silver. Too many sheep buying in right now...
7. Well, the GOP is so shit scared of him they STILL have no viable candidates willing to run (WTF's with all the "exploratory committees?" A money grab from the HH-like sheep? Likely.) They are several months late declaring, given historical timings. And the more the RNC sucks Paul Ryan's cock over his "budget plan," the more votes they lose. Life is quite good right now, for us anti-GOPers.
8. Really, you can't do any better than that? The intertubes derail such bullshit lies quite effectively. You should use it for more than just porn LOL! Obama hosted an Easter prayer breakfast last week, during which he told attendees the following: [color:purple]"I wanted to host this breakfast for a simple reason -- because as busy as we are, as many tasks as pile up, during this season, we are reminded that there's something about the resurrection -- something about the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ, that puts everything else in perspective. "We all live in the hustle and bustle of our work... But then comes Holy Week. The triumph of Palm Sunday. The humility of Jesus washing the disciples' feet. His slow march up that hill, and the pain and the scorn and the shame of the cross. And we're reminded that in that moment, he took on the sins of the world -- past, present and future -- and he extended to us that unfathomable gift of grace and salvation through his death and resurrection. "In the words of the book Isaiah: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." "This magnificent grace, this expansive grace, this 'Amazing Grace' calls me to reflect. And it calls me to pray. It calls me to ask God for forgiveness for the times that I've not shown grace to others, those times that I've fallen short. It calls me to praise God for the gift of our son -- his Son and our Savior." Put it this way: Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha didn't get this kind of treatment, even tho' we supposedly are a secular nation and treat all religions equally. The other point to keep in mind is that George W. Bush was in office for eight years. So just how many Easter proclamations do you think that supposedly fundie "pious" jerk issue? Zero. And being an atheist, I congratulate him for that.
9. What color is the sky in your fantasy world HH? Do you have there unicorns shitting out cotton candy for all to eat too? They have drugs for delusions now, ya know!
10. Considering that since the stimulus took effect, the stock market has went from 7000 to 12000+ and we've added 4x more jobs to the rolls than Bush did in 8 freakin' years, I can see your point. If i were an idiot. But I'm not. So that only leaves one of us as the idiot, Mr Atwater...
11. I wish you wingnutz would just be honest about the real reason they are obsessed with this subject. As Lee Atwater said: [color:purple]You start out in 1954 by saying, "Nigger, nigger, nigger." By 1968 you can't say "nigger" — that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states' rights and all that stuff. You're getting so abstract now [that] you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites. And subconsciously maybe that is part of it. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying that if it is getting that abstract, and that coded, that we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. You follow me — because obviously sitting around saying, "We want to cut this," is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "Nigger, nigger." I would at least respect you for telling the truth. Not for anything else, mind you. But at least for having the balls to say what they mean.
12. The Long Goodbye. A Robert Altman-directed Raymond Chandler/Philip Marlowe adaption. It was an Altman. What can you say? It was (of course) excellent, in a "neo-"noir kinda way. Not as dark as a Lynch film, nor as comedic as, say, M*A*S*H* by Altman, but highly entertaining regardless. And makes one long for the LA of the mid-70s. So very cool! Marlowe's High Tower apartment...how bad-ass is that? Makes me sad they are going to try to remake that one too. I am so pissed off about remaking Dudley Moore/John Gielgud's Arthur. Now this. FFS Hollywood, get an original idea, you lame-ass idiots! Remaking classics is pathetic. If they try to remake Bullitt, I'll personally go over there and kick some ass LOL!
13. You think the Hunt bros are gonna try it again? That they didn't learn their lesson? Well, the rules are now in their favour, so they could do it nowadays IMHO. And they are still alive... Wouldn't surprise me at all. After all, the USA is extremely good at failing to learn from history.
14. Citizens United did that, my friend. Any thought that the US is a democracy and not a 3rd world banana republic went out the window with that ruling! Unlimited money can come to candidates from corporations now, eliminating any pretense of "will of the *people*."
15. Kewl! I'll have a cold beer waiting. The Marine will be arriving within a day of you. This could be trouble LOL!
16. I am a gentleman. As they say, "I aim to please, so please aim." Since that sounds more impressive, I'll simply neglect to say that that is that particular object's usual locale... I think it all went wrong at about the second shag and fourth Absinthe shot. Since we simply cannot cut down on the sex, I guess we need to limit the Absinthe next time. 55555555555555
17. I like http://eclectictastes.in.th betterer...
18. Oops. The above was a response to Panadol mostly...
19. Hey, the sofas came with the condo, so what can I do. I've never been much of a fancy house guy; more a functional guy. And I am a firm believer that you never buy anything in LoS that you cannot or will not walk away from at a moments notice, so flashy furniture is out. Since they are certainly functional -- as you can plop yer arse down on 'em, and even catch a nap, comfortably -- they're fine for me. As for the gals, I grew up long ago. They are certainly average BKK bar girl looking (6-7ish) and not what anyone would mingers -- I believe that Mr Cavamani knows at least one of these gals (he calls her School Teacher, I call her Librarian) if he wants to chime in. Or not, no matter. Now I am not going to post their faces, so up-2-U to believe it. I couldn't care less . As for me personally, I have tired of just fucking the vapid and boring "hot" girls -- as Freddie said: "I've seen every blue-eyed floozy on the way, but their beauty and their style wore kinda thin after a while". Word up. So to me good personality and sexual deviance/enjoyment/performance make up a major part of the decision to take anyone home (no mingers, but average is OK). YMMV. I can say that the gals in question both are excellent in those departments. Now isn't even this discussion -- about women & sex -- better than the Wade or Galt or Stick silliness LOL? It is to me. That shit is like old ladies at a OAP home. I say let them fight it out as a duel, err, a tres?: handbags (Frede's cum optional) at 20 paces: may the best (wo)man win!
20. LOL! Damn, that Ryder dude is pretty good. He can age an Asian chick even with a blurred out face. The one on the "Cleopatra couch" is 26...
21. Cuz we were doing the cosplay thing. You know of my vast selection of fun stuff from Japan...
