Since you can't even find the gist, no need for anyone to bother with it.

I guess the temporary morgues setup in tents outside hospitals didn't alarm you. NYC and the surrounding area shut down to control the virus outbreak! This was effective in "flattening" the curve, ie, reducing the peak. Plus thousands of medical personnel went to New York to help the overwhelmed staff. No one was sure at the time how effective the isolation procedures would be. The effectiveness depends on the actions of the general populous. Since the worst didn't happen because of the extraordinary actions taken to control the epidemic, are you saying there was no health emergency?

Thailand has a piss poor testing capability. As evidence of this, note that Thais returning from overseas are put into 14 day quarantine. Instead they should be tested, held for 5 days and tested again. If negative then let them go. I see no progress in Thailand of increasing testing or of developing tracing capabilities. Also people dying at home in Thailand are not tested for CV-19.

This depends on Thailand's CV-19 testing to be adequate. Also what do you think will happen when Thailand opens the border to Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, and China?

  8. Whether the keys are returned or not, you must change the locks. It is so easy to make a copy of a key. Put that 20K to work changing the locks today. I'd want to install one of those locks with a camera that uploads to the cloud.

She was arrested on a warrant from Nevada! That means she was arrested pursuant to the warrant issued in Nevada. In a stunning twist, Mikovits was arrested on Friday, and spent five days in a California jail cell, held without bond. She was released Tuesday after an arraignment hearing, according to court records. An arrest warrant issued by University of Nevada at Reno police listed two felony charges: possession of stolen property and unlawful taking of computer data, equipment, supplies or other computer-related property. https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-xpm-2011-11-22-ct-nw-chronic-fatigue-scientist-arrest-20111122-story.html I am still waiting for you to show factual errors in the Snopes article on Mikovits.

What about the Philippines! Hot and humid and has over 7000 cases. Indonesia has over 8000 cases. Malaysia over 5500 cases.

    The Covid-19 thread

She was arrested and then released, which the Snopes article clearly states. She was not illegally held since she was arrested on a warrant from Nevada. The article never said she was convicted or served time in prison! So I am still waiting for you to point out factual problems with the Snopes article. A few months after that, Mikovits was arrested in southern California “on an ‘out of county warrant’ from Washoe County, Nevada, for allegedly taking lab notebooks, a computer, and other material from the Whittemore Peterson Institute in Reno, Nevada, after the WPI fired her.” ... On 11 June, the district attorney’s office for Washoe County filed a petition to dismiss the criminal charges against Mikovits without prejudice (which means they can file a related complaint in the future), a clerk to the Justice Court of Reno told ScienceInsider. Mikovits, who was briefly jailed on the charges, is still defending herself in the civil case, ...

Please point out any errors in the Snopes article on Judy Mikovits. Judy Mikovits is hardly credible.

    The Covid-19 thread

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/scientist-vaccine-jailed/ Mikovits’ controversial paper did not demonstrate that XMRV “came out of the lab into humans via contaminated blood and vaccines”; rather, it speculated such after seemingly demonstrating a (now discredited) association between XMRV and CFS. To say Mikovits was jailed for exposing widespread virus transmission via vaccines or blood transfusions is false, not only because she was actually jailed for allegedly stealing property, but also because she never scientifically demonstrated the claim she suggests the government wanted to silence her over. ... But although she may have lost the support of the scientific community, she appears to have found a new home in the pseudoscientific conspiracy world.

  15. Watch out! You do not want to be responsible for his stuff in your house. Make him sign a waiver if he is storing things in your house and that you can throw all that out on say May 25. Do not give any money back until all his things are off your property and the property is inspected. Change the locks!
