Saw this series, very good. In truth, the whole Watergate mess was almost a “comedy of errors” that did indeed bring Nixon down. I remember the right wingers trying to dismiss it all as “…a 2 bit burglary that means nothing…” The left screaming for blood…many feel had the left gotten their way and had Nixon been held liable, then we might have gotten a better government over all down the road…I don’t think it really mattered in the end.

Apparently, it is considered rude to refer to these people as 1)"those people" 2)"they/them" apparently, we are only supposed to use names, which can get really weird when it comes to addressing strangers. In case I never mentioned it over the years, I have a bit of an issue with "these people," and gays etc...they seem to just push their nonsense too far, women's sports and beauty contests being cases in point.

There was a tv show here where the host went out into the street and told trump supporters all these great things that Trump had planned and the people praised him and said what a great leader he was…except 1 thing, Trump never said any of them, just the opposite, Obama said them or did them, Bernie sanders said them, AOC, Clinton(s) etc… Sadly, some Americans are simply seriously, that gullible. There are people who will tell you the earth is flat, the earth is only 5000 years old, the Bible trumps science (pun sort of intended) etc… embarrassing really.

Thai airways is struggling largely due to mismanagement. They are hopefully getting their act together. As for the “economists” who speculate about the Thai economy based on what they see in Nana, my advice is don’t take any investing tips from them…

Just got over my 3rd case of covid though the cough persists…4 jabs…yeah, “…these vaccines…”

A lot of the girls used to tell me 1/2 of their Japanese clients (or more) usually didn’t fuck them, they wanted to watch them piss or shit of have a period…or just play with them in some fashion…some of the rials thought this was kinda weird…

It has been reopened for awhile now. New location. I think Dang, Daughter of the original owner is running it. Not quite the same, but what is when it moves. I still remember the old place, the original “ cross readers” and “Hobos” and “Famous Drunks” of old Bangkok, Jack, Tony all of them, great crowd. Sadly almost all are gone now. For the 1-2 that are left, the new location is a bit too far to go. Still worth a visit and if you’re lucky you might see a “famous face.” Felling nostalgic today, gotta big out the old photos…. madrid bar Bangkok

A “monger’s” life is chosen for him, be it fate, circumstance what ever, he has no control over it. Last trip on a rare night out alone, I saw a girl on Cowboy I had be utilizing for over 20 years…nostalgia or known value for Bhat..? I also had dinner with the (in?)famous Si Saket Girl from years back…still good friends despite it all… What is that old saying? “…I’d love to be 25 again and know what I know now…” Rings true I suppose. When I look back on it all, I am reminded of the line from a famous song by my favorite band “…lately it occurs to me, what a long strange trip it’s been….” Would I change it? No. Would I do things differently..? Maybe here or there, but the life that chose me has been fun, met many good people and had many great times. I can’t imagine the alternative, work in a cubicle, 9-5 day in day out, kids wife etc…everything scripted and never a variance…casting negative dispersions on those like our current selves, while secretly envying them. I got a fortune cookie years back, saved the fortune, it said “…depart not from the path which fate has assigned you…”

Far too many seem to think the bar scene IS Thailand in an absolute. As for the Africans, the women don’t bother me, some are even attractive. The men with their loud bullshit can be annoying, but usually keep themselves. Last trip I did notice Africans in in many cases Indians were still not welcome in many places…

Trump will probably transfer at least some of his assets into retirement accounts which can’t be touched in civil matters, and will transfer control to his kids or some holding company that he will sit on the board of. I seriously doubt he will see Jail or lose everything etc…I just can’t see it happening…nice thought, but yeah…no.

Seen this happen many times…that girl thinking she is “just having fun…” while others are annoyed by her bullshit…very rarely is the chick hot or the kind of woman you want to see naked….1-2 times yes…20-30mtimes hell fucking no…
