  1. Now that result brought a smile to my face Cardiff 3-2 City, just seen my drunk uncle make a fool of himself again. What made it even better was Frazier Campbell getting 2 goals, he is an ex United youth Player from the same youth team as Wes Brown and Danny Wellbeck, from the same inner city estate, being an ex inner city kid myself farking proud to see a homie put one over Citeh, he may be a United reject but any United player past or present wants to put one over the Citeh, it's in the blood. As for tomorrow I can see Moyes playing the Mastercard and starting Rooney against Chelsea, a "Fark You" statement towards Mouriniho, the mind games will start early and I can see Moyes winning this one.
  2. There is one thing that is really pissing me off right now and that is OTP (One Time Password) I am using the same device with the same IMIE from the same phone number so WTF do AIS require me to submit my Phone Number for a new friggin' PIN every time I want to watch another game, it's not as if I am changing hardware or phone numbers on a Daily basis, but I am using the same device all the time and is driving me mad, one of those "Things about Thailand" that belong in another thread. huumlaar, I have spoken to AIS technical support about this but I can't loose my temper with an underpaid phone operator, but maybe if you have more meetings next week you may wish to raise the question WHY? They have my phone number which I pay for the AIS / CTH service on, simple for them to capture my IMIE and ensure that I am who I say I am and am using the same device, databases are not difficult to set up or administor are surely a damn sight cheaper than sending out a new OTP every time I log on, half of Thai society seems to be based upon job creation.
  3. But for a good night out what more could a man ask for than :-
  4. Where as this is Patpong theme tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFa1-kciCb4 I am always the Good
  5. Bastard, that one made me spit coffee on my monitor, haha nice one
  6. I should hate Liverpool but I don't, they were the team of the late 70's early 80's and were untouchable and were I team I appreciated watching (wash my mouth out) I still like it when they loose of course but I don't really dislike them. Believe it or not I have a lot of Scouse friends and most of them are knowledgeable about the game. Citeh, well we all need a club to laugh at, they are like that drunk uncle who was always at family weddings, made a fool of himself but was always good for a laugh. Half of my family are from the Blue side of the City so we have good crack. In the mid 70's when football was still a working class game myself and my Citeh cousin used to go to Old Trafford and watch United one weekend when United were at home and then Maine Road the next when Citeh were at home, pre-corporate days when every game kicked off at 3PM on a Saturday afternoon then you would either pick up a copy of "Pink Final" or rush home and check out the rest of the results and see if you had won the pools, happy days. The only club I can say I really dislike is Chelsea, not just the team but the fans as well, they seem to think that football started in 2003 when Romans Roubles rescued them, arrogant manager and obnoxious fans.
  7. The Rooney dive is a joke, Who was the Arsenal player who took a dive at Portsmouth to get a Penalty earn a 1-1 draw and made your invincible season, some fans are just as myopic as their manager. (Joking Steve) I don't hate other teams, maybe I should hate Citeh with their UAE Billions and the council house stadium but to be honest I find too much humour in them to hate them. Liverpool, they won everything in the late 70's until mid 80's but I admit that they were a good team and well above United at the time. Arsenal at times play some of the most entertaining football in the League but have too many "Brain Farts" in defence to hold down a challenge. OK, I do hate Chelsea, before Roman's millions they were a nothing club and now their fans belief they have a history, joke of a club and a joke of fans. 99% of the time I appreciate a good game, my favourite match of last season was when Spurs beat United 3-2 at Old Trafford, they took a 3-0 lead we pulled 2 back but could not find the equaliser great match, bad result for me but an entertaining game. Most clubs have their collective ignorant fans, since United have a large fan base then it appears that we have more pricks than other clubs but that is only due to the overall fan base many of which are ignorant about the game, As I have said before, I am a fan of football and support my home town club, it just so happens that I am from Salford and United are my homies but I am probably one of the most critical fans about my own team.
  8. I didn't see the Arsenal game chose to watch the Chelsea v Villa match instead but it seems like Wenger has got them playing when it matters. Villa were unlucky, Chelsea's second goal was a mile (well half a yard) offside good free kick from Lampard but Ivanovic was well offside as the ball was played in. How Ivanovic stayed on the pitch after his challenge on Benteke is beyond me. 87 Minute and a blatant John Terry hand ball in the box, if that guy was to wear a green shirt with number one on the back nobody would be able to tell the difference but again the ref bottled it. I am looking forward to next Monday now, Chelsea have to visit Old Trafford, if they perform anything like last night United will rip them apart.
  9. Zaad, I would like to see Rooney replaced by anyone, he pushed it once 3 years ago but this time I think he is out on his own, he is not liked at the club anymore not just the fns but so his team mates (well not so much mates now) just don't sell him to a BPL team. One of the advantages of spending early part of 2013 in UK was I got to see a lot of the United Reserves, Adnan Jurazaj needs tying up on a contract before he does a Podgba, and Jesse Lindgard is a local kid who is United through and through. Even without any new signings United still have one hell of a squad, 2 players for every position and that young Wilfred Zaha is not to bad is he. I am confident for the premier league but in Europe it has to be Bayern, it I was incorrect about Bayern I would eat my hat, not that I wear a hat but I would go out and buy one it I was wrong.
  10. Zaad I was unaware of Narsingh injury problem, having spent the majority of 2013 back in the UK I did not see much Eredivise and lost touch, Ironic I cn watch more Dutch football in Thailand than the UK. Steve, your ABU stance always amuses me, hey we are each entitled to our opinions so I respect yours. Not taking the piss because you are American but why your ABU stance, if you were from Liverpool, Bolton, Blackburn, Newcastle, Emptyhead Stadium or North London I could Understand it but for an American to be ABU just seems unreal. Gambling on football is illegal in Thailand so I have not placed a bet but I have villa getting a draw at chelsea and Fenerbach beating Arsenal. No doubt I will be wrong, my bets never pay off.
  11. I am surprised that Luciano Narsingh of PSV has not been scouted by some of the bigger teams this summer.
  12. Zaad, not sure if my data about your club is 100% accurate but I am sure its damn close. People either overlook or are unaware of the fact that Villa are the youth champions of Europe. Randy Learner has not panic and is giving Lambert time, I honestly believe that villa will surprise a few people this season, am I the only person who watches football without the blinkers of my own team in place?
  13. I grew up in a musical family My father played in a few bands in the late 60's, never made any fame or fortune but that was Manchester back then. My mother was the principal pianist of Halle Orchestra I had a classical Mother and a rock father, my mother forced me to do 2 hours piano practice a day before letting my father loose on my on guitar, interesting education. I do get a kick out of going into the hi so music stores in paragon, I don't dress up, a baggy t-shirt torn shorts and a pair of flip flops are my style, and the looks I get when I sit at a grand piano are priceless, as soon as I start hitting out Beethoven Piano Concerto 5 and seeing the jaws drop make it worthwhile. The wife asks me M why do you keep doing it, well because I can, I like to shock people haha, who is this tramp playing perfect, I enjoy a good laugh. I do enjoy playing live rock music been doing it for nearly 40 years now, how the hell can one play keyboards and guitar at the same time, well I have mastered it an array of pedals makes it possible. I just like my music simple fact
  14. European Cup Once First Division 7 times FA cup 7 Times Double once.
  15. Because of many cover versions by Irish bands many people think this song is about Dublin. Wrong my "Dirty Old Town" Salford
  16. The song was written by Graham Gouldman who later went on to semi fame with 10CC A slight claim to fame, Peter Noone the Lead Singer is my Mums brother, always just Uncle Pete to me.
  17. Agggh Graham Nash before his Crosby, Stillls, Nash and Young days.
  18. Just waiting for Munchmaster and Chocolate Steve to chime in hehe. Come on Limbo it is good to have Zaad back, we can all have a good disagreement. Interesting fact Aston Villa have won the EUFA Cup, Arsenal have not, I think this fact alone gives Zaad bragging rights.
  19. Zaad, I do think Villa will qualify for Europe this season more on their league position than winning trophies, I can see them 5-7 position, Liverpool are not even the best side on Merseyside now and I believe North London now belongs at White Hart Lane rather then the Emirates. Top four will be between Chelsea. City, Spurs and United, the next positions will be Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool and Villa, As for United, I am not a glory hunter, I was born and bred within spitting distance of Old Trafford, I was too young to take in the 1968 EUFA Cup win and endured years of torment watching Liverpool run rings around us, I suffered for 20 years until we started winning things, but I must admit that the glory hunters wind me up
  20. Villa could be a dark horse this season, I was happy to see Lambert keep them up last season, holding onto Benteke without a release clause was a master stroke and many people forget that Villa are the reigning youth champions of Europe. I can't see them being top four just yet but they will shock quite a few teams as proven at the Emirates this weekend, but I could see them winning a cup, most teams will be concentrating on their european aspirations where as Villa can concentrate on the cups. As for my homies yet another unconvincing 1-4 result at the Liberty, we were played off the park for large periods of the game but RvP and now Danny Wellbeck are just lethal in front of goal, ask me in 4 weeks time after the Chelsea, City and Liverpool games about my feelings on their chances. I would like to see Adnan Janzuaj, Jesse Lingard and Wilfred Zaha given a chance, and my dream would be Rooney to Real Madrid with CR7 coming home, hey even I can't get dope that good haha.
  21. Does nobody use VPN's anymore? The Onion Ring (TOR) was the one in its day but in modern society for every VPN a government shuts down another ten takes its place. Hackers are not criminals they are just trying to stop the criminal activities of governments, do I write code to get around snooping? well that would be telling wouldn't it
  22. Unless you have a Jailbroken Apple TV 3, it's only a little bit of Unix code , it took me 4 hours and 3 beers to crack mine, I could have done it in 30 minutes but the beer slowed me down. it is literally one line of code changing a "0" to a "1" its just knowing where to find it. Panthip.Com has been a buzz today with hacks on how to bypass the CTH lock, now my written Thai is rather limited but technical threads are mainly in Engiish making it easier for me. The internet has been buzzing since midday about AIS taking on CTH , as huumlaar is well aware. Fortunately I have a little time on my hands at the moment and I do like coding computers, fark I had my first Commadore 64 35 years ago, so I like a challenge. The wife was "No Way to make it work" and I was "Watch me Baby", I managed to succeed without even throwing any of my devices across the room which is my usual modus operandum. My next trick is to find a way to get CTH via AIS without the 199 Baht / Month fee, I think I know the code so will give it a go tomorrow, it's not the money but the challenge, it's a little game to me and I like to win.
  23. App available for IOS, OSX and Android, watch on PC or on TV via HDMI or Apple TV which I rave about.
  24. Well the rumours that I heard have come to fruition, AIS are now showing EPL football from CTH for 199 Baht / Month, the app was released about 3 hours ago Live football with English commentary SORTED.
  25. Numerous VPN's are helpful, I use my UK one for Corrie and Emerdale (Sad fart I know) but I need Swedish one for English Football live at 3PM UK TIME. I majored in computer science based on C++ and Unix so for me OSX and IOS is just like knowing my times tables. I will never say that Apple is the best OS but since I have been using UNIX for over 30 years now I sort of know my way around it!
