  1. OK. OK. Now whom on this board has NOT done this? Name names.
  2. Hey, my computer IS beige. What does that mean? I just got a new HP printer and that is both beige and black.
  3. Perry is a flash in the pan. He ain't going nowhere. Too much baggage. Loved his religion revival this Spring. Loved listening to all them ministers and preachers.
  4. In my outfit there were always some who just loved it. Never an issue for someone to volunteer to walk point.
  5. You right wingnuts may have to wake up to reality. Democrat Kathy Hochul won US House seat in a full Republican area. So much for the Tea Bag Movement.
  6. Correct. The Republicans are acting like a bunch or horney bulls prancing around a cow in heat. "Let them eat cake." As the financial barn and farmhouse burns.
  7. Oh, yes. I have lost my senses. At some dive bar off of Walking Street in Pattaya. Got back to hotel and all were gone. And I forget which dive bar it was. Whenever I'm in Pattaya I roam the sois and back alleys searching the dive sleeze bars trying to find whatever I lost. An endless journey. Reenactors. The glories of war and the pseudo soldiers who wished that they were part of it. 9B3uNxvSygg Oh, wait, Munches post is about movies. I forgot.
  8. Have I mentioned this movie? Great movie for former military guys or those who wish that they were in the military or those who love conspiricy theories. Or just ordinary Tin Hat people. If I have mentioned this movie before please let me know. I tend to repeat myself lately. And I wash my hands many multiple times per day. Some tell me that this may be an issue for me and that I should seek serious psychiatric theapy.
  9. Clint did an interview awhile back on the tele. One tidbit of the bridge blowing up in Spain. According to Clint. The Spanish Army engineers built the bridge. And the top Spanish general was invited by Sergio to view the actual blowing up of the bridge. Sergio advised Clint and Eli to go down closer to view bridge being blown up. Eli asked Clint if the spot where Sergio advised them to go might be a tad too close to explosion. Both Clint and Eli stayed far away from the explosion. The 2nd part of that story was that the Spanish General was told by Sergio that when he states "OK" - the Spanish general could press the buttom to blow up the bridge. Sergio had many camera angles and cameras. Sergio was contacting each cameraman and asking if each was set up and ready to shoot. One of them yelled back "OK". When the Spanish general heard the "OK" he blew up the bridge. Too early for correct filming. And as Clint stated, the bridge was completely rebuilt. A second bridge was used for filming.
  10. According to some theories above, Senator John McCain could not be president either. "According to Romney family lawyers it doesn't matter if Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, Kenya, or even Paris: Because his mother was an American (and not even Donald Trump questions that), he is eligible to be President. The Romney lawyers investigated this question in the 1960s, when Mitt Romney's father, Governor George Romney of Michigan, was vying for the Republican presidential nomination. George Romney had been born in a Mormon colony in Chihuahua, Mexico, as his grandfather moved there with his wives in the 1880s after polygamy was outlawed in the U.S. While some opponents nicknamed him "Chihuahua George," his suitability for the highest office because of his birth was never seriously challenged. The reason his campaign faltered was because of his shift in position on the Vietnam War: He went from being a supporter to opposing it, infamously claiming to have been "brainwashed" by military officials. After that Richard Nixon's lead in the polls more than doubled. Article II of the U.S. Constitution states that "No person except a natural born citizen ... shall be eligible to the Office of President," and so the question is: Does natural born citizen mean born a citizen or born in the U.S.? The Founding Fathers were of course aware of both jus soli (birthright citizenship) and jus sanguinis (citizenship through parentage), but deliberately wrote "natural born" rather than something like "born on U.S. soil," arguably to include children born to U.S parents outside the country." LINK If it's made of nuts, fruits, and cake . . . well then it is a fruitcake.
  11. Facts sometimes get in the way of the truth. "The 47 percent number is not wrong." "So why are those radio and television talk show hosts spending so much time arguing that today’s wealthy are unfairly burdened? Well, it’s hard not to notice that the talk show hosts themselves tend to be among the very wealthy." "No doubt, like the rest of us, they don’t particularly enjoy paying taxes. They are happy with the tax cuts they have received lately. They would prefer if other people had to pick up the bill for Medicare, Social Security and the military — people like, say, firefighters, preschool teachers, computer support specialists, farmers, members of the clergy, mail carriers, secretaries and truck drivers." LINK Google yourself and read up. And stop listening to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Alex Jones, and the rest of the fruit cakes out there. Every one of these pundits is a card carrying member of a UNION ! Below is a good example of the nut cases out there. And if you believe this garbage - well, maybe it's time to look into the mirror and see if you are in fact looking at a fruit cake. xZEnV_-R-10
  12. Google it yourself. That 47% do not make enough in income to actually pay federal income tax. That's a fact, Jack ! You can dance scream and holler and and argue all you want. Facts are facts. Q5Qwtv5hCBk GW understood facts.
  13. 47% of US workers pay zero federal income tax. Cheaters? No, their income is below the stated poverty level. Ya, let's cut the wages from the few middle class left. Those greedy bastards. They want a wage above the poverty level. Greedy bastards them all. Let them eat cake !
  14. ATTORNEY: Now doctor , isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep , he doesn't know about it until the next morning? WITNESS: Did you actually pass the bar exam?
  15. Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the family business. When he found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father died, he decided he needed to find a wife with whom to share his fortune. One evening, at an investment meeting, he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away. "I may look like just an ordinary guy," he said to her, "but in just a few years, my father will die and I will inherit $200 million." Impressed, the woman asked for his business card and three days later, she became his stepmother.
  16. A Vacation love story He grasped me firmly but gently just above my elbow and guided me into a room, his room. Then he quietly shut the door and we were alone. He approached me soundlessly, from behind, and spoke in a low, reassuring voice close to my ear. "Just relax." Without warning, he reached down and I felt his strong, calloused hands start at my ankles, gently probing, and moving upward along my calves slowly but steadily. My breath caught in my throat. I knew I should be afraid, but somehow I didn't care. His touch was so experienced, so sure. When his hands moved up onto my thighs, I gave a slight shudder, and partly closed my eyes. My pulse was pounding. I felt his knowing fingers caress my abdomen, my ribcage. And then, as he cupped my firm, full breasts in his hands, I inhaled sharply. Probing, searching, knowing what he wanted, he brought his hands to my shoulders, slid them down my tingling spine and into my panties. Although I knew nothing about this man, I felt oddly trusting and expectant. This is a man, I thought. A man used to taking charge. A man not used to taking `no' for an answer. A man who would tell me what he wanted. A man who would look into my soul and say ... "Okay, ma'am, all done." My eyes snapped open and he was standing in front of me, smiling, holding out my purse. "You can board your flight now."
  17. Well, in all honesty, I can't remember what I did yesterday.
  18. There are so many classic scenes and statements and such. Read the list on chalkboard as Jeff Bridges teaches the class. If you don't read to bottom of list of good foods and herbs to eat - you will miss the whole point of this scene. I read the list on second viewing of movie. Missed it first time. The gas station scene in movie with the private contractors getting gas. You really have to view closely - as this puts the whole private war contractors into perspective. And pokes fun at the entire Miltary Industrial Complex. The whole movie pokes fun at America and it's foreign policies and foreign wars. Much more.
  19. Did I mention this movie? GC2TzspJn5A Nominated for the Best Comedy Award.
  20. I don't think the average Joe and Jane are smart enough. And then who is responsible for the disabled? The baby born with spina bifida etc?
  21. "The Haggis, once a common wild animal of the Scottish highlands and lowlands is now a very rare specimen indeed and is under threat of extinction. Unfortunately, unlike the plight of the Scottish Wildcat, Capercaillie, and Fat Sloth Munch, who are also under threat, this animal, for some unknown reason, does not have the same public appeal. Perhaps this is because not a lot is known about this unobtrusive and retiring shy wee beastie." LINK
  22. OK. This is a repeat. And you may have to have been in the military to really get the humor and irony. But I have viewed again as it has hit the tele. The more I watch it the more funny/ironic it gets. This is not a movie that you can watch just once as you will miss some of the real good lines/images. What a superb job the writers and director did with this movie. A BBC movie. Filmed in New Mexico/Puerto Rico/Hollywood. The Men Who Stare at Goats Classic lines: We're Americans. We are here to help you. Well the hooker thing is definitely a lie.
  23. "After 70, she becomes like Tibet, wildly beautiful, with a mysterious past and the wisdom of the ages. An adventurous spirit and a thirst for spiritual knowledge." Is the Free Tibet or the Communist Tibet?
