and the whole sentence/message you hear:
ขณะนี้หมายเลขที่ท่านเรียà¸à¹„ม่สามารถติดต่à¸à¹„ด้à¸à¸£à¸¸à¸“าถืà¸à¸ªà¸²à¸¢à¸£à¸à¸ªà¸±à¸à¸„รู่
or something like that; depending on carrier
also possible is this ending à¸à¸£à¸¸à¸“าติดต่à¸à¹ƒà¸«à¸¡à¹ˆà¸à¸µà¸à¸„รั้ง
if you want to have this in transliteration and/or translation, let me know!

ขณะนี้ kha-na-nee at the moment, at present, now

this sounds so familiar to me!
when a woman has a accident, it is always a malfunction of the car!

Actually, you are right. I didn't know this. Therefore I wonder how they pulled this off, since as I said, it's impossible for Thai women to travel to Germany unless:
a.) she can prove her personal wealth and has a upper ranking job and can convince the German embassy that she will return to LOS.
b.) she marries a German, takes a German language exam at the German cultural center in BKK and is able to convince the German embassy that the marriage is legit.
Maybe the Swiss embassy in BKK is less strict?
you do not need to get married to get a TG to Europe. Mine got visa from 3 different embassies!

there are agencies, which take 30k THB or so to get a visa for Schengen
-

Nope. I am not a Russiam blonde.

EU member countries can't import young Thai BGs anymore (neither officially nor unofficially), while this seems to be still possible in non-EU Switzerland. Other than this there is absolutely no connection.
i thought visa regulations are the same for Schengen countries and Switzerland is a Schengen country as well!

I always go there when in BKK, good food and a nice show watching the world go by.....
so what food places can you recommend?
-
Had dinner there last night, was good fun as usual.

sorry but it is "post mortem". No wonder that people with such crappy latin run out of money
doubt the deceased was the one writing the bad latin HT...
really? how are you so sure the deceased did not give a press conference (with written press release containing the bad latin) before he jumped? there is nothing in the report, so you can not just assume!
or was it Flasher? Flasher, brush up your Latin! Mekong and BB can teach you!

i was talking about Chinese and Koreans, not North Korea. I know many South Koreans, some good folks among them, but I do not know any North Korean.
and what the fall of the Berlin wall has to do with China, Gobbie, only a Disneyland historian like you can make a connection!
-
- just have to make sure I'm avoid the hotels full of Korean and Chinese tour groups. Seriously annoying around lifts and restaurants.
that's a racist remark, Gobbie!
actually the Chinese and Koreans can't stand those Aussie tour groups loitering around in front of hotel check ins, elevators, entrances and jumping queues at immigration, sightseeing spots etc. in China and Korea

The 64-year-old plunged from the 12 metre high tower to the ground. His body was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital for a post morten examination.

the embassies in Thailand have to deal with a lot of such loosers; I saw one myself who was at the embassy queuing in front of me when I had to renew my passport; he was rather harshly turned down when he asked for a advance

not sure what
- be part of the European Union
- have a prostitution ring with Thai grannies

-
court order in thailand??
wonder how much money is paid in reality in the weak legal system in thailand? what means does the court has to enforce that? is it up to the victim to enforce payment?
-
being a small man is indeed much more convenient, right Gobbie?

I have had immigration visit my office and see my employees, what's the problem?
so you are your employee?

This years Ministry of Interior / Department of Labour have tightened up on the Medical requirements and the form they give you to take for the medical has a list of tests / remarks which include.
Alcoholism
Drug Use / Abuse
Mental Health Issues
STD's
TB (Tuberculosis not Torneyboy)
So considering I am basically off the sauce now, have not touched drugs in over 25 years, do not suffer from mental problems (though some may tend to disagree), have not "Played Around" in LOS for over 10 years I was pretty certain I would pass no problems.
wonder how they test "alcoholism" and how serious they are on all this!
if the former is serious, many board members can forget to get a WP!

Not sure it is related to type of field, my position on WP is CEO of my own company.
this makes you of course suspicious so they do a very comprehensive check on you! Did you notice any observation lately? do you can guess whether it is your ex or the immigration dep...
