  1. Thank you ST for this report. I am also a ghost from the past, and couldn't find any of my old posts on this board: I was not an heavy poster at the best of time anyway. I used to be on the ASFO list in the early 2000's. Oaktoad, the gentleman you referred to, was if memory serves, an accountant in the States for part of the year, and the rest he spent in Thailand, married to a much younger middle-class lovely (female). He had a ladyboy hobby and in his spare time he operated the "Questionable Girls of Thailand" mail list, on the then Yahoo boards. Probably one of the very first board dedicated to lb's, with contacts, photos etc. He was well in his sixties then, and I hope he's doing well. Sarasin used to bring over (or should I say "lure over" 😉? ) young Japanese beauties eager for a free vacation in the US after he left Thailand. I remember his "how-to" detailed instructions, and it was fairly simple too except of course the part where you had to be a tall blond guy, which he was 😁 However one day, he met his match and married one of these girls, who gave or was about to give him a baby I believe; I can't remember if she had given birth yet as it may be around the time I stopped reading the list. He was also in his 60's I believe. I hope all these guys who were on the old list are doing well. One question about the Nana area, as I haven't visited BKK for well over 3 years now: is the Swiss restaurant almost next to the Plaza (on the right when facing the plaza from the street) still around? The food was great, and there were always a couple of older freelancers in there, watching you eat and pouncing when you got to the coffee; they were usually also BG7 graduates, and gravitated between both places...
