  1. Substitute the name Cheney with Obama and I agree with you 100% HH
  2. Because that would not enable the politicians to target/benefit the money to their supporters? HH
  3. I am certain that you really do hope Paul will get the GOP nomination. But it wouldn't "shake things up". Paul's nomination would assure relection for Barry, the most incompetent, inept, unprepared President in the history of the country. We need a leader who can and will get the country rolling again. Not sure who that would be, but I'm sure Obama and the likes of Pelosi and Reid aren't the ones to do it. They've turned an out-of control backyard barbeque into a raging forest fire in 2 3/4 years. HH
  4. A Harvard economist has calcultated that Barry's spending bill (ooops, I mean "jobs bill" )would cost $200,000 of taxpayer money. Barry's Secretary of the Treasury thinks that's okay. Why would anybody want to support such a crazy bullshit initiative...or anybody who proposes such a plan? http://abcnews.go.com/Business/Economy/geithner-good-chance-jobs-act-pass/story?id=14609951 HH
  5. Steve, line item veto was passed into law in 1996 when Clinton was Prez. Litigation was brought against it and the U.S. Supreme Ct. ruled it unconstitutional in 1998. HH
  6. My man NEWT is probably smarter, intellectually and in terms of real knowledge of issues, than any TWO other GOP candidates combined. Not saying too much, I know, but he's substantially smarter and more-versed in the important issues than our Wanker-in-Chief (Barry). Unfortunate that he won't be the GOP nominee, cuz he is viewed as "not electable". (I've said it before: Newt would steal Barry's lunch and eat it in front of him in a TV debate/debates. Indeed, it would be worth watching if you're a conservative even it was on "pay to view". It wouldn't be a pretty sight for neo-libs. 55555555) Nevertheless, the GOP candidate is almost certain to win in 2012. The alternative would doom this country for decades to come. Steve, you're lost, my friend. Dave32, gather your wits and don't go to sleep like Steve did ! HH
  7. You expected more from Obama? I've got a bridge in San Pedro I'm willing to sell you for a good price, IF you did expect more. HH
  8. You are correct. They are forms of "annuities", as are retirement plans and health plans for employees/retirees. HH
  9. Steveo...I warned you "don't go to sleep" ! 555555555 I fear you've been taking some "cat naps". You keep calling Obama a "centrist". I just don't get it. He's a leftist, Marxist ideologue. Check his background and who is mentors and associates were/are. Just because he hasn't been able to get everything he'd like in 2 1/2 years doesn't make him a centrist. He's been FORCED to compromise. He hasn't done anything "centrist" that he hasn't been FORCED to do. What has Barry actually proposed that is "centrist"? What has he done that fiscal or social moderates or conservatives promote that he has accepted without being FORCED to accept? Nada, is the answer. He's broken so many of his campaign promises that I don't think I could count them all. Probably just about all of them except that fucking he gave the country with Obamacare. Even that is a shell game. Like somebody on TV said the other night, it's the old cup and ball game, except Barry only has one cup left. Barry is an empty suit. It's too bad that so many people fell for the hope and change bullshit. You remember I called him the equivalent of Professor Hill in "Music Man" when he was campaigning? He's turned out to be exact like that huckster...only with a Marxist agenda. Even the independent CBO has said that Barry's numbers don't add up. Barry would have to tax the shit out of the middle class to fund all of his initiatives (which, to date, have included massive failures and produced more fraud than we'll probably ever know--at least while he's in office). I really believe Barry was elected as an anti-Bush backlash. Not because he was the best candidate either party could produce. He was a smooth talker, especially when he had a teleprompter or was giving the same rah-rah speech for the umpteenth time. Well, we saw in NYC the same kind of backlash that we saw in 2008. And it's only going to snowball in the next 12 months. Stay awake guy...If you must, jump in a shower every couple of hours. Open the windows...smell the kimshi. Take some NoDoze 555555555555 HH
  10. 5555555555555 So the Pedophile-in-Chief (the dude in the WH who's fucking our kids and grandkids by drowning them in debt) is doing nothing but what comes naturally out of Chicgao politicians. And this asshole was gonna give the country "hope and change". What a fuckstick Barry is. 16 more months can't come fast enough. And the libtards try to crucify Cheney for his former ties to Halliburton? Don't make me fucking laugh. HH
  11. Robaus...the problem is nobody seems to even know if the current administration has a ME policy, much less what that might be. Whatever it might be, it must be very fluid. And I agree that such a policy/policies should be based on the interests of U.S. citizens and not that of zealots in the ME (or anyplace else, for that matter). HH
  12. Definitely a referendum on Barry, as were last November's elections. Barry should just fuck off someplace and start preparing catalog cards for his library. 55555555555 Mainstream America has finally got Barry's number. (Is "zero" a number?) I imagine President Zero will get a statue on The Mall for doing more to defeat socialism/Marxism than McCarthy ever dreamed. HH
  13. Flash...I'm primed to watch MSNBC tonight. 5555555555 I want to see how Chris Mathews and the guy on "The Ed Show" spin this HUGE defeat by the libtards. I think the Democraps can kiss Florida adios for sure. Dumbass Obama couldn't have aliented the Jewish voters more since he was inaugurated, unless he had started wearing a swastika armband a year ago. Barry isn't as bright and intelligent as libtards like to profess. I think Jimmy Carter just moved up a rung above him. HH
  14. Stevo...I don't see how you could be excited over Barry getting a second term. A 3-day-old pile of average dog shit should be able to beat Barry. I thought it was "rich" when Obama was campaigning to a joint session of Congress yesterday when he was trying to rally for U.S. jobs. Never once did he mention China. I wonder why? The CEO of GE (who is also the head of Obama's jobs panel) was sitting in the First Lady's box in the gallery as her guest. In case you didn't know, GE has recently shipped thousands of jobs to China and GE paid NO federal taxes last year. Does it not seem more probable every week that we have a "Manchurian President"? (All of above, except for the dog shit remark, has been reported on the internet, but try to find the connection in the Washington Post or NYT of any other mainstream rag. HH
  15. Warning? Warning? Only tells us what his "personal" thoughts are and what he would sign off on. Certainly nothing he could do alone and doubtful if more than one idea would get through the amendment process. Just a liberal blogger scared shitless of another GOP hopeful that would be a better president than the one we have. (And that's why there are soooooooo many GOP hopefuls...they could ALL do better, certainly not worse, than Barry.) HH
  16. I read that Joe the Plumber may throw his wrench in the ring. Would be better than who's in the WH currently. HH
  17. I think you have some things mixed up. BTW, to you, it's His Highness (HH) HH
  18. You're right...polls regarding overall popularity/approval don't mean squat. Only the electoral votes mean anything. Three things will mean defeat for Barry in 2012: 1. He will not get the independent voters he got last time. He's lost the independent vote, according to the latest polls...and BIG TIME. 2. The "excitement" factor of having a new, charismatic candidate will be absent with Obama. (He's old news now.) He will not get the independent voters; the black and latino voters who came out to support a black candidate will not come out in the numbers as before. I'm hopeful that Maxine Waters is not representative of the Black Caucus, but her tirades have shown disapproval of Obama that stunned me. (Not to make a pun, but she's gotta be a "black widow"...turning on a fellow liberal in office like she has.) 3. Conservatives...and not just the Tea Party...are energized to get this guy out of office. They WILL come out of the woodwork...activists and the "silent majority". And they will be joined by conservative (and maybe some moderate) Democrats who realize Obama isn't the answer and that he's bad (very bad) for the U.S. HH
  19. I think that "Asian chick" is probably Michele Malkin. Saw Maxine Waters at the Demoncrap National Convention in Miami in 1972. She wasn't bad looking then. Would compare her favorably with Condi in their respective primes. But, then, again, Maxine didn't have her big mouth overloading her ass in those days. 5555555555555555 HH
  20. In obvious response to above, the NYSE did well today, while my poor Gold Eagles took a dive. HH
  21. Call them what you like, they all seem to be poised to kick Obama's ass out of office next year. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/obama-virtually-tied-election-match-ups-romney-perry-151926037.html HH
  22. Romney will win the GOP nomination and will beat Obama. Obama has been a failure on so many fronts and for so many useful idiots who believed his "hope and change" bullshit. The enthusiasm that was there for Barry 3 years ago has certainly waned, while the all-important "independent" crowd has moved away from him in droves. What's better, Obama doesn't have enough time to turn the economy around. Better, cuz he's gonna be a punching bag in the gym this time next year, with unemployment still sky high, foreclosures continuing, the dollar devaluing more. Remember the "it's the economy stupid"? (Thank you James Carville. LOL. ) Hang in there Steve. We're gonna liberate you from the pod before you're completely and irreversibly transformed. DON'T GO TO SLEEP !!! HH
  23. It'll also have a name: "White House West". 11,000 sf isn't all that big when you'll need to host foreign diplomats/have state dinners. (BTW, I'm only guessing that the $12 million is largely based on the location and amount of land upon which the current house is located.) Sounds like it'll be nice. HH
