That is one thing (among several) that I like about US politics: nobody can buy his way through elections, regardless of the money he puts in (from personal wealth). Many (if not all) rich people had failed when it became clear (or even just a suspicion) the money is all they have behind them.

Why I read topics on this Board. Why I comment. Must be some kink within mine innerself. For example, a disgust for cutting/pasting junk from the net. Those writing the news, if they had any salt in their brains, they would not be parroting stuppidities. They would have a better job than chasing and making sensations out of nothing. But, some believe them, even bring their BS here. Even ask me what am doing here if I don't want to participate in the hysteria. You might enjoy it, me not.

Just wondering, why you Americans are bringing here the links, anyone can do that, quite likely some had seen the news before you cut-paste from wherever? To keep the topic "warm" as if anyone in Asia cares what you think they should think? Don't you think that 60% of world population is sick of your circuses?

Do you guys really think US has the clout over Asia as it used to have? I live in Asia, Japan, to me seems that US enjoys the same rating that Americans grant to Mexicans. Just about work. Americans do "manana work". A big, robust, burly buddy that can help in a pub brawl, but nothing to copy from them. At that, Burma's junta just had them (Clinton visited there just the other day) the way the want it. An Asian way.

KS, haven't tried yet uploading any images, one question: Is it a policy that images should be uploaded to the site or links for other sources are acceptable? I mean, my own site that stores them. No junk from elsewhere, only pics I did myself. Resized to ~150KB or less but the size should not bother you, only a link.
