    Welcome

If it gets any worse I'll probably fly to BKK then directly to Phuket to do my islands hopping. Are there flights available from Phuket to Vietnam or you have to come back to BKK? -thanks

    Welcome

Hi Khunsanuk, In what district(s) has the protest mainly take place. I'm heading to Thai in about 3weeks and would like to know if "Siam/Silom" a safe district to reserve my hotel. I know the protest is quite peaceful but just want to stay way from any traffic or crowd congestion. Thanks,
  3. Hi Guys, Where can I find most of the nice bars with relaxing atmosphere to chill back?
  4. Thanks Coss. The last time I visited BKK was in 2001 and there were some nice bars on Soi 33 are those bars still there? Actually I was looking to do some Islands hopping around Phuket and if time allows would like to stop by Samui.
  5. Heading to Thailand on May 3 and will spend a few days in BKK and the remaining week in Samui and phuket. If anyone have a similar plan let's meet up. Take Care
  6. Limbo you mentioned "Similan island are most likely just about to close" Do mean that because it's approaching rain season so Similan island is closing to the public? Again thanks all, but I would like a firm answer on this guys. If I were to visit Thailand for three weeks starting 4/15 - 5/6 would it still be sunny throughout the West (Phuket) and East coast (Koh Samui) for islands hopping.
  7. Thanks Limbo, So would you recommend us to visit thailand between 4/1-4/21 or 4/15/ - 5/6? Which is better regarding to accommodation, tourists and outdoor activities? We would like to visit the following islands. Koh samui Similand island Ao Nang
  8. My friends and I finally decided to visit Thailand in April but we're not sure whether the islands/beaches will be deserted before Thai New Year 4/15/10. If some shops and restaurants are closing for the New Year we would rather visit Thailand after the New Year like 4/16. Any suggestions? Also what are some of the nicest and cleanest beaches/islands in Thailand and any from the list? koh lipe koh samui koh tao - Koh nan yuan Koh kood/kut songkriet Railay/singha, phi phi Koh Samet Koh Phangan Koh Turatao Thanks,
