I kinda know where you are coming from on the different points of view about coming to the States. My wife did finish high school in Thailand. The rest of her brothers and sisters went to college. We work together with my work, She has said several times about wanting to make more money for us, but then I would have to get her a car and first teach her how to drive it. Plus the area we live at has no decent jobs.. 2 weeks ago I had a heart attack in Houston.. Had a stent put in, She said do not die on me as I don't want to look for new husband.. Bless her heart. She wants us to keep money in the bank. She does not spend all her money or mine.. She is looking at long term goals.. not just tomorrow

We had supper last night at a Thai place in Blue Springs and the ladies there were telling us about their lunch buffet and they said they had the best Som Tom in all of K.C. area, so guess who ahs to drive there today....

I used to wear a wathc all the time, but kept breaking them with my work.. I used to wear it on my left arm, but I'm left handed. Wore it with the face in,not on the top of my arm.

Was the area on the east side of the main trk. gate about 1 mile south? If so there are dump trailers coming out of that area when I was there last in the fall. Big check point with armed guards and sensors just under the canopy.

Well my wife does do the clean up in the trk. and she does all the laundry as well. We mostly eat out so no cooking for her execpt when she needs cooked rice and then she gets out the rice cooker. but doing the windows inside is.. Well she does'nt do windows. I even tired to give her little hints. Like I would clean the inside of the windows on my side of the trk. and leave her side dirty.. She never did take the hint and they got so streaky inside I finally had to do them.. But all in all she does most of the house hold/ trk. inside cleaning.

I give Mekong all the credit in the world. I gave up the drinking for 6 years. Cost me a good wife I had, money and a few jobs. Was off the stuff for 6 years. Every now and then I have a few. Not a whole lot like before.. Rebuilding took time and getting the trust back from certain people and contracts. Good Luck and Congrats again Mekong

Keep going. I bet this is going to get real interesting bwefore it's over.. Would be real funny to hear she and her fmily ends up doing time.. Then they will find out money can not allways buy your way out of trouble.
