  2. Bizarre... can one not wait until said fruit ripens? ( I have no idea as I never touch the stuff)
  3. This is a desperate measure and amazing that its is even being considered. Live PUBLIC debates or talks with an exiled fugitive criminal? This makes the US looks good and that's tough to do..
  4. Over the next few years DEBT will be a dominant theme-the world is drowning in debt due to our felonious credit based fiat currency ponzi scheme...US leads the way.
  5. I hate to driver in Bangkok and only do so when I have large items to transport. As such I use the BSTS and at night the taxis a lot and truly it s an excellent value.I try to tip if they are reasonably courteous Its also helpful to keep in touch with my Issan dialects
  6. One just has to ignore these comments as they generally come from those people that live an incredibly insular life.(most Thais) They are part of the fabric here... That being said like Flash I am always amazed when after chatting clearly with me for several minutes in Thai They say " Oh you can speak Thai" Hello earth to Thai person..
  7. Good One Flash! I am out of the country now and back in 5 weeks gonna PM you fo a beeeeeer sometime in June
  8. Its hard to completely measure the extent that the Feds are militarizing the national police forces and other government agencies. Th F--- PATRIOT HAS BEEN USEDTO DO ALL OF THIS This makes me really cranky. The name of my high school friends Country Band "Asleep at the Wheel" says it about most Americans. Everyone is too busy getting their benefit checks, keeping on up Kim Kardashian and checking Facebook-so scary.
  9. "sacrifice his family" Complete and utter bought and paid for journalism.
  10. Hm I would suspect they wandered down from Soi 3 to visit the Plaza. before continuing their Holy work. My " danger spideys" get activated down Soi 3 sometimes. Old Habits ever die..

  12. Hmm more civil disorder.
  13. This is a sensible perception but too frequently the courts are not straight
  14. Flash- Indeed Oct 6th 1976 very ugly- Besides the terrible massacre hmmmm the previous years were greattttt As I remember popular opinion had it they were all communists but then I remember the students had a mock hanging and the press got everyone riled up as they inferred it was auuuuu m well I can't say here but some one important and that gave the impetus for the guns and such. I have had an odd nack to be in weird places at well er odd times....
  15. Absolutely true in my view plus its rapidly becoming a totalitarian police state.
  16. Yep that mock hanging by the students gave Lahacholo (or whatever his name was?) the support to butcher the students if my memory serves me correctly.( which it probably doesn't ) I was "around intermittently " during that period.
  17. Bizarre series of events and most improbable IMHO. I mean in this day and age the NSA or whoever could follow minute details of an individuals life yet a F--- AIRLINER OF THIS SIZE VANISHES?? I DON'T BUY IT.
  18. INTERESTING. These trade and non dollar markets are being created world wide. Dollar struggling and in a down trend for decades.. Take this Obama says Putin.. ( hope I posted this properly) olitics More: Iran Russia Iran And Russia Are Working To Seal A $20 Billion Oil-For-Goods Deal: Sources Jonathan Saul and Parisa Hafezi, Reuters Apr. 2, 2014, 1:13 PM facebook linkedin twitter google+ email REUTERS/Viktor Korotayev CVI/MA Russian President Vladimir Putin ® stands with Iranian chief nuclear negotiator Hassan Rouhani in the Moscow's Kremlin, February 18, 2005. Putin said on Friday that Russia was convinced Iran did not intend to build nuclear weapons and he said Moscow would continue nuclear co-operation with the Islamic Republic. LONDON/ANKARA (Reuters) - Iran and Russia have made progress towards an oil-for-goods deal sources said would be worth up to $20 billion, which would enable Tehran to boost vital energy exports in defiance of Western sanctions, people familiar with the negotiations told Reuters. In January Reuters reported Moscow and Tehran were discussing a barter deal that would see Moscow buy up to 500,000 barrels a day of Iranian oil in exchange for Russian equipment and goods. The White House has said such a deal would raise "serious concerns" and would be inconsistent with the nuclear talks between world powers and Iran. A Russian source said Moscow had "prepared all documents from its side", adding that completion of a deal was awaiting agreement on what oil price to lock in. The source said the two sides were looking at a barter arrangement that would see Iranian oil being exchanged for industrial goods including metals and food, but said there was no military equipment involved. The source added that the deal was expected to reach $15 to $20 billion in total and would be done in stages with an initial $6 billion to $8 billion tranche. The Iranian and Russian governments declined to comment. Two separate Iranian officials also said the deal was valued at $20 billion. One of the Iranian officials said it would involve exports of around 500,000 barrels a day for two to three years. "Iran can swap around 300,000 barrels per day via the Caspian Sea and the rest from the (Middle East) Gulf, possibly Bandar Abbas port," one of the Iranian officials said, referring to one of Iran's top oil terminals. "The price (under negotiation) is lower than the international oil price, but not much, and there are few options. But in general, a few dollars lower than the market price." Oil is currently priced around $100 a barrel. Iran and world powers reached an interim deal in November to ease some sanctions restrictions, which went into effect in January, in exchange for a curb to Iran's nuclear program. Work continues to reach a final settlement. Under the sanctions accord, Iran's exports are supposed to be held at an average of 1 million barrels a day for six months to July 20, but sales have stayed above that level for five straight months, oil tanker tracking sources told Reuters last week. "The deal would ease further pressure on Iran's battered energy sector and at least partially restore Iran's access to oil customers with Russian help," said Mark Dubowitz of Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a U.S. think-tank. "If Washington can't stop this deal, it could serve as a signal to other countries that the United States won't risk major diplomatic disputes at the expense of the sanctions regime," he added. The Iranian official said missiles would also be part of the deal, together with Russia providing assistance with building two nuclear plants in Iran. The Iranian official did not produce any documentation, and Russian
  19. A friend of mine moved and gave me his Leveluk "kangen" water machine which was invented I believe in Japan. It makes "yang" or water with a very very low (non acidic) PH level. Very impressive in my view but expensive item The type of water on drinks is very important.
  20. I used to fly JAL and still fly ANA through Tokyo. The food is always excellent from Tokyo but it is still 6- hours solid to BKK from Tokyo.
