New Petchburi Pete Posted January 12, 2003 Report Share Posted January 12, 2003 A couple of friends are coming over from the States; and. they want me to inquire as to whether or not they can take some van 'service' from the airport in Bangkok directly to Pattaya. The flight they're arriving on is one of those that seem to all arrive together after midnight. They don't want to see Bangkok until they need 'recovery' time from Pattaya in BKK for a couple of days before flying back to The States, and then, unavoidably, entering that infamous state of 'void' in their culture- shocked minds. Believe me, they are both contemplating moving over here; but are single and prefer Pattaya ... less traffic and cheaper food, cleaner, fairly safe for cycles, beach & sunsets +++ the 'nightlife' scene they pursue with the utmost vigor! :: Is anybody familiar with any such van service if it in fact exists?
