Don't know where they are sourcing their data, but stats do get muffed up.

 

Even for the big boys. Funny how bad the screwups can be or how long they can extend for.

 

I was tracking the exchange rate and really like the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's format.

 

They had the exact same problem, they stated the FX rate at 10 baht over the actual rate. I informed them of it in February 2001 and the problem progressed for two months. It finally had to go to a VP of the bank before it was resolved (still got his email, one Douglas E....).

 

Too bad they seem to have cutbacks as the Chicago FRB doesn't offer the same services. Indeed, trying to use search gives you: "Search Feature Unavailable
