In Asia - the worst I have been to is Bombay, hours spent there with rude Indian custom officers have taken its toll. In Africa its Johannesburg - cause you are always sure to lose stuff there. Chumpon Airport, Thailand Hardly manage to get on a plane, never the right hour to go or leave... 18 june arrive Dong Muang on BA9 at 16.00. midweek plane for Chumpon leaves at 15.00... will have to take train..... After having checked thru customs the bar in the waiting 'lounge' was closed. Just walked outside the airport, crossed the street, bought some beers and walked in again. Nobody worried. I too despise Heathrow - and they are going to build terminal 5 there now - I would suggest leveling the whole dump and starting again on the Isle Of Wight. Try arriving there late and getting a reasonable hotel and use those abysmal Hopper (sic) buses loaded up with suitcases. Good ones. Again Singapore, HK, Orlando.
