I'm not talking about American-Asian/Thai girls, I mean 100% TG's! Anyone know where they get these girls from? Do the movie makers get them from bars/gogos etc? I can't think of where else they would, as the average GTG would probably not be into making porn for international consumtion! I would also think that the girls who star in these movies wouldn't really get a large amount of money for it... maybe... I dunno... 5000 baht MAX per scene??? Anyone know about this stuff? I mean, compared to the few 1000s, or 10 000s working in the sex industry. My opinion is that sex movie producers do not really go that much to bars to hire (they may go for as punters though), it's a business that has its own connection, its own way to "scout" talents. I may be wrong, but there are a lot of us around this board, and i would be surprised if more than a very few have recognized a girl in such movies. Even though money may be tempting, it's probably too a no-no proposition for Bgs who can be very prude, unless caught unaware and not told what the camera is for (commercial distribution). Also, sex movies are getting really hardcore, and I think most Bgs are not exhibitionist or extroverted enough to play the part. So, not a good ground for hiring porn stars. He did most of his recruiting from the GoGos in Pattaya in particular the Pretty Girl on walking street and the large MP opposite Big C. Also, the porn site (whatever it is) with the pics of the shaven headed hairy Brit stuffing beegees in a variety of ways allegedly pay the gal only 4,000 baht for posing! One has to realize that the porn industry is rather diversified and only a handfull can be "porn stars" (i.e. a brand name). IMHO, there's a substantial amount of porn pumped out every day with girls/boys/katoeys recruited from the Thai prostitution sector. Thais are rather good at motivating themselves by repeating the mantra "it's only my job" and can then get pretty much anything done... For example, I'm sure more than a few of us has seen series of images & what not with that bloke -- Nigel? -- that pick up bargirls/freelancers around the Nana area.... * * * I've also met recruiting photographers (often female for some reason) several times at the Grace. It's been my impression by speaking to them that "a session" pays rather well. I can't imagine that a movie scene would be any less...and probably well exceeds 5000 baht per scene...don't know the specifics though. It wouldn't surprise me if a high-end prodcuction like the Hustler Asian Fever Series (which seem to feature Isaan girls just from looking at the covers) pays a lot lot more... She told me that the Thai men put out an ad for the audtions and many women showed up, some BG some not. And get this she told me that majority of them did the video for 1000BAHT each. Remember these guys are amature film makers, and as amature film makers you dont need to pay the girls allot of money to be in these videos. She said it was operated by some farangs around the Emporium area of Sukhumvit (she mentioned the Soi where they maintained an apartment, but I won't here.) Her English was pretty good, and as she described it, the longer she kept a guy or guys on the site watching her play with herself or whatever, the more money she got. She had also been assured that the site could not be accessed from Thailand. This was real important to her - to the point that she asked me several times if I thought that was true. My response was a reassuring: "I dunno." She disappeared from the scene for about a month, and then was back. When I asked about her internet cameo, she said the money wasn't good enough, which is why she returned. I think she was also concerned about guys accessing the site from Thailand.
