Torneyboy
Kow pansar first day of Buddist Lent and the time when Thai men traditionally become ordained as Monks. We went to our local temple today and a lot more people then last year. Should have been thirteen Monks but another Temple took six monks. Very nice day and enjoyed as we allways do. More falangs this time and most (all but three) stayed outside and did not participate at all So much food this time as well, i was one back from handing the first plate to the Monk next guy after me was from Cambodia and other side of me was a girl from Indonesia (she lived in a Temple from 7years to 17 or so) finished school and uni and temple paid all for her. We arrived at 10 30 am left 2pm (we go most weekends and finished by 12.30pm so a long morning but we both have a good time and look forward to the next visit. Any of you guys visit today? khunsanuk
Hi, Joined my wife and her niece in the morning to make merit, but did not join them in the evening. At the local temple here it is much more a religious thing only. No big party or such. Sanuk!
