And would this translate as 'whatever u do, don't make someone lose face'? 'mai tum hai khrai sia naa' (equivalent to not embarassing someone, or, don't make someone lose face?) You've got the gist of the phrase right even if the individual words are a little off 'hai' or actually 'tum hai' means 'to cause' (or make as you've stated) 'sia' can mean lose in certain contexts (including 'lose face') but it generally means 'damaged' or 'broken' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
