khunsanuk
Hi, "Ill have the same as you (ie. food at a restaurant)." Phom ja kin muan gan (I will eat the same) "where do you want to go." Khun yaak pai nai? "when do you want to go." Khun yaak pai muaray? "are you hungry." Khun hiiw mai? "I just want to be with you." Phom yaak ja yuu gap khun. (this is "I want to be with you", I guess you could add "thawnan" (only) to get what you asked for) "I dont care ." Phom mai sonjai. "I dont care what we do or where we go I just want to be with you." Phom mai sonjai raw ja tham aray ruu pai nai, phom geh yaak yuu gap khun. "If your happy im happy." Weelah khun dee jai, phom koh dee jai. (If is 'Thaa', but I believe that would not be appropriate here; have never heard it used like that) "waitress." When refering to a waitress it is "dek serve", but when calling her you could use "nong". Sanuk!
Guest
KS, Good list. Not going to add as that'll confuse the language newbie. On exception though. Weelah khun dee jai, phom koh dee jai. Better not to use "dee Jai" but "Sabai Jai" and Weelah is referring too much to a time. so better to say "Thah Khun Sabai Jai, Pom Khoh Sabai Jai",
khunsanuk
Hi, "so better to say "Thah Khun Sabai Jai, Pom Khoh Sabai Jai"," Ah, so you do use "thah" here? I guess you have a point on the sabai jai as well. Sanuk!

Guest
>>>>"I dont care ." Phom mai sonjai.<<<< "I not interested" is the best way to say? This is Thai way of saying "don't care"? Thanks.......HT
Guest
is 'mai care' too strong? I'd probably say this, then again its really context related. If, i don't care ie. where we go, what we do. U might say 'lao der' (up to you). I'd also agree that 'mai sonjai' equates with 'not interested', so may be a little rude - I'm asumming the said questioner is refering to things he wants to say to his GF.
