Wow - thanks for posting this. I occasionally need to be reminded why I stay away from "popular" publications on subjects such as music, literature, travel, et al. My comment: Joan Jett makes the cut but Gary Moore, neither Schenker brother, Uli Roth, Rik Emmit and Joe Satriani are not listed. And Eddie Van Halen at #70. WTF?!? That's my thirty second analysis, if I gave it any more thought I am sure there would only be 15 or so left on the list of 100. What a world. Joan Jett?? I am a better than Joan Jett on the axe. ::

 

Yeah you have to wonder how or whom they interview or survey for this stuff.
