Straycat
I must have really poor observation skills....just went to 7-eleven and, of course, I see plenty of "Wonder"...
chilli13
I voted LM as I usually smoke a carton of red when in LOS, but I pretty much tried them all mainly the local krung thep is ok though a bit on the strong side & the cheap local tobacco I was told to smoke when visiting a BG family as it's just so much cheaper, but not really to my liking though... Marlboro is for the rich (BG's)
bangkokbutcher
In Thailand I smoke Benson and Hedges and in the UK I smoke roll ups coz I'll be damned if I will pay around 300 odd baht for a smoke
Old Hippie
Just wondering, what does a pack of smokes cost in other countries? LOS about $.50-1.00usd, here in California, around $4-5usd, or more out of a machine...all due to taxes and general BS...
kamui
in Germany ca. 3-4 Euro ~ 3.30 US$-4.40 US$ but I haven't touched a cigarette for years.

Straycat
Says ib13: ...mainly the local krung thep [Krong Thip, Grong Tip - Straycat's note] is ok though a bit on the strong side... yeah, I get some serious throat problems with that brand...in that context I find the name quite funny - grong = filter, tip=holy... Says ib13: Marlboro is for the rich (BG's) one certainly get funny remarks in the bar if they see you smoke a local brand... -- but I wonder who voted Sai Fon (Falling Rain) and Mild Seven....the latter I thought was only for the japanese? ::
