soongmak Posted March 31, 2004 Report Share Posted March 31, 2004 Cyclo? I just so happen to have that movie on tape. What a dark movie that was. Not for the fainthearted. Depressed the hell out of me, but for sure more realistic than Bangkok Dangerous. The romantic sideline story in Bangkok Dangerous was not so convincing, but I enjoyed the movie immensely. I liked the way the story was told with flashbacks and very little conversation. A very stylish movie. I was also very impressed with the editing of the scene in the japanese restaurant where he went to revenge his best friend. I guess our tastes just differ! I thought it was a good film and enjoyed it for much the same reasons, though I think the ending was overdone and let the rest of the film down.
