gobbledonk Posted December 22, 2003 Report Share Posted December 22, 2003 Hi Dali, I havent been, and my sole contact will be a couple of hours in the transit lounge at Denpasar on Wednesday nite, but you'll find a few posts on Bali post-bombing via the 'Search' function at the top of the page. My travel agent told me that the Xmas flights to Bali are once again chockers (at least from our neck of the woods), so thats a positive sign that things are turning around for the Balinese. gobbledonk Posted December 26, 2003 Report Share Posted December 26, 2003 Hi Asiahand, I'm in Jakarta, at last - havent seen much nitelife yet, but I'll get there when I shake this jetlag. A horde of Bule (mostly Aussies and Kiwis) piled off the plane in Denpasar, so it would seem that the Balinese are well and truly back in business. If only we could export those magnificent smiles to other parts of the world - even here in Jakarta, I am surprised by the warmth of many of the people.
