thai3 Posted December 28, 2003 Report Share Posted December 28, 2003 Saw Siriporns big show for the first time last week on thursday and friday, then saw her at veteethai on sat. I love her show, slick dancing routines still with the flowers and fans that wave across the stage. Her troupe has some very fine singers including a guy who sounds like Got. Both her concerts were marred by crowd trouble and there seemed to be little security, but did see a couple of trouble makers getting a good kicking at the side. Seems if you want to go behind the stage for CD signings you have to ask Grammy first! Bugger that I gor her to sign mine at the front. Fantastic concerts. Got a taxi to almost Korat and back on the 20th to see Jintara, it was cold and the concert this year seems poor with clowns being on for an hour stint, maybe they were waiting for her to arrive.Gave her an album of pics of her I have taken over the past two years. Now the stage is fenced off and you have to buy a mali to get into the enclosure, bit of an inconvienience. Every year Luktung FM hold the mother of all concerts with 100 singers which goes on for 15 hours, this was on the 22nd,and it is free. Was impressed with job and joy, look great as well as having a good solid morlam sound.Everyone seemed to turn up, sing one song then off again. Too far from the stage though so have to go early for a good view. Christmas day phoned up Sunarlee Rachesima manager and he put her on the phone,amazing thailand. She took us around the back of the stage after the concert, free again, and gave us some signed CDs.This is like meeting kylie or britney only more exciting of course. Ekachai was at this concert which was on suk soi 101, some sort of political event. Never seen him before and he had to perform for two hours due to yui yatt yerr not turning up over a disputed fee, she wanted 10,000 extra. Ekachi is a very impressive entertainer, sings in all styles and is a good joker. Yesterday saw luknok after trying to for two and a half years, she another great stage performer, lovely girl always got a smile on her face and a very powerful voice. Concert aT prakanong tonight new girl called Noi who probably cannot sing but has sexy outfits so it will be something to look at at least.
