its a bit more complicated.

it all depends where and how, and who you are. one of the thais i have come to respect most, the late boxpromoter and part owner of channel 7, has hardly ever used anything else than goo/mueng, in addition to some of the most inventitive swearwords. he had the filthiest mouths i have ever heard here in thailand, but was loved, admired and is still sadly missed.

and personally, people who cannot take a certain amount of joy in the occasional swearwords and filthy language i do simply not care to be around with, and hope they will get properly offended by my use of that. way too many stuck up idiots around here.
