[color:"red"] don't like Asians who have studied abroad or are "internationally oriented". They usually think they have Western values - which they don't, but they are not real Asians any more either. Never had good experiences with them. I prefer the real thing, be it Western or Asian.

For what you said I am not a real thing I guess, these Western educated women probably will not enjoy such men as you anyhow. Many of us keep the best values of both worlds. ::

Lucky us, many wonderful Western men love and honor us. :D

I said borderline socialist, not communist; meaning that it is important to me that those who have it share the wealth with the less fortunate, since I came from that social level. That is, I believe that in a civilized society, no one should starve, be homeless, naked (unless they wanna be :p) or drastically ill. My wife makes sure we give about 15% of our pre-tax income to various charities dealing with only with providing basic human needs. And heck, I prolly give another 10% to various Issan villages through my selective philanthropic works (selection criteria: cute friendly young ladies working in Cowboy, Patpong, Washington Square, Soi 33, NEP, etc :D) here in LoS. I said nothing about not liking to have money or getting ahead. So yes, I prolly could have picked a better adjective, but I couldn't think of one. Ya caught me -- legitimate to say it was hypocritical as I was using a non-standard definition of the word. One point.

Now what are your reasons? I gave you mine. Come on man: this is a debate, which is not a name calling contest (despite what you may see on debates for US Presidential elections), but a discussion of ideas and measurable reasons (not "because I said so") of why one sees they are the "right" ones. I love intelligent debates. And I am sincerely interested in *WHY* you think like you do. Express it!

Cheers,

SD

BB,

Its a free board, and once you have posted your opinion or your view on a specific subject, it is subject to criticism.

I haven't seen truer words for quite a while :) but that's not the point here.

Read my post carefully BB and you'll notice I'm not bothered by his criticism on Iuytrede's post, he has all the right to do so. I'm bothered by the bit of arrogance he used for the introduction of his post. He could have (should have) left it aside. My opinion of course.

Suadam,

Up to you. I only read his post because they replied. I missed it the first time 'round. Had they not posted, I would have likely never seen it.

I am fully aware of that, Suadam.

But let's move on to more important matters now, such as the content of your post. Apart from telling us what your friends do for a living and how much you and them are able to spend on a weekly basis, I think you make very valid points and I agree with most of them.

What worries me though is the fact that Iuytrede is not joking about the thoughts he expressed in his post as I initially thought he was taking the piss. That's the reason I used the word "enjoyed' when refering to the two posters who had a liking for his post.

Cheers Tiger!
