Hi big K,

You have bin lucky, mate.

I tried that once, years ago and the crunt lifted 7K out of my wallet in a nano second. I think I blinked ::

She is the only girl I know of who is barred from Thermae.

A tall skinny bitch with short hair and looks VN, 35-40, no tits, goes by the nickname "Nit".

These girls are professionals!

I called the cops....... a waste of time :censored:

Two things.

Thing 1:

I agree with a previous poster when he said:Or maybe, just maybe, I a.) take my time in judging a girl before taking her back to my room and b.) they never feel short changed and feel a need to steal something. I don't know you so I don't know if any of this applies to your situation, I just have not had this experience and often wonder about people who classify bar girls as thieves. "

I have lived here a long time and taken 100's of girls (prolly more than 1000, seriously) and I have never had a problem. I am not the only one as it is extremely rare to hear this in my circle of friends. There is wise advice above. I do not believe that some people have "rip me off" written on their forehead, so you must be doing something wrong. No offense, but it must be true.

Thing 2:

If you are having problems with BGs, then you are a fool to take a freelancer. Yes your last problem seems to have been with a girl from a bar, but at least she is tracable. With freelancers you're shit outta luck. Stay away from them until you figure out what is going wrong.

Don't mean to be harsh, but if the same thing keeps happening and it only seems to be happening to you, then look in the mirror. Ask other expats or boardmembers if what you are doing is bad. There are lots of cultural landmines here that can piss someone off and cause them to act out against you. Ignorance is NOT bliss in LoS.

Regards,

SD

I know of boardmembers who have been ripped off but maybe they are too "shy" to admit it here.

Thing 2: A. I no longer go with F/Ls, well, not since the 7K loss 3 yrs ago...

I think they see me as an easy 'mark'. can't walk, luxury house etc. fuck him....... literally, he can afford it!

If you had met me and been to my house to see & learn the circumstances of the thefts I could accept yr comments, until then, I cannot.

Thanks for yr input.

Out of all my trips and the many hundreds of girls (over time) I've taken back to my hotel the only things that were ever taken were a new stick of deoderant (from the US) and a hair brush. Never found out who took the deod but pretty certain a Nana girl took my hair brush - was a cheap 3 dollar brush and had it for years, I was mad about the brush...

At least it sounds like you know who took your cell phone. This past trip I thought one of the girls stole one of the porn DVD's I brought with me from the US, they cost me US $50 each, including some nice ones I ordered from Japan (the girls seem to love these). Many of 'my girls' are regulars and it really bothered me that one of them could've done that and it was worse that I didn't know which one it was and had to think badly of them all, really thought I could trust them (crazy as that may sound) as much as they trusted me. As I was sadly packing up to catch my flight back I found the missing DVD - braced against the wall sideways inside a cabinet, miracle I even saw it then the way it was positioned. I actually could've cared less about the DVD when I found it, I was just so happy that no one had stolen from me and I again saw all 'my girls' in a very good light.

While I have found, surprisingly, most girls to be very honest I do nonetheless keep high ticket items locked up, and now have learned to do a quick inventory after each girl or group of girls leave - so I'll never have to think ill of the innocent girls again.

On my 1st few trips I always took a portable "motion detector" alarm I bought for about $20.00, was the size of a flashlight and once I 'armed it', if it was moved even a nudge it would produce a 110+ decible scream complete with a bright flashing strobe light. It had a 30 second delay once armed and I'd put it in a drawer with my wallent, etc - pretty much immobilizing that drawer. The only way to open the drawer, if you happened to know that thing was in there, was to slowly, EVER SO slowly, creep open the drawer bit by bit until you could gently reach in and carefully disarm it. During the time I used it not one of the BG's ever even knew about that motion alarm, however the maids sure did when I forgot to disarm it a couple times... :o

Might be able to use that to protect your cell phone, if you put your cell phone in a drawer with the thing. I'm sure there are security stores (or web sites) that carry those motion detectors.

BrownFox,

thanx for yr input but I think my only solution is to have my phone superglued to my lughole.

Keeping the mobile out of (my) reach in a drawer or other location, is impractical for me.

These thefts happen so fast it is hard to comprehend.

"never turn yr back on a bar girl" Impossible in reality.

If it has happened this many times, let alone more than once, you are certainly an easy 'mark'.

I don't see where a disability comes into play because these thefts seem to be occurring when you are not paying attention and not in front of you with the thief out maneuvering you for a get away. Perhaps I missed it in your post but I don't think there was any mention of someone outright stealing and then evading you, the escape made possible by your disability.

Perhaps if you can live in a luxury house, you might want to purchase a 'safe', or dead bolt a closet to secure your valuables. Bringing your phone/wallet to the bathroom...um, always.

I also do not agree that stealing from a disabled person is worse than from someone who is not. This type of 'I deserve different treatment because...' is somewhat elitist and could possibly shed some light on why this behavior occurs...um, continually.

I have never had anything stolen. I am certain this is because I have never given anyone the chance to grab at anything valuable. In fact I always leave a dummy stash of 20 baht bills as a fail safe check. If i come out of the bathroom and my dummy stash is gone she is out the door.

I hope things change for you.
