ThaiHome
Do you think it would work? Every time I have gotten stung, it was more a case of me running into them then them going after me. TH
whosyourdaddy
Jelly fish repellent??. Last time I looked most jellyfish are at the mercy of the tides. What are they going to do?. Swim away?. ( yes I know they have limited movement )
vegasdave49
I am not sure about this product, but I think you guys are getting the wrong concept. I agree it would not be likely that you could prevent (repel) a jellyfish from making contact with you. But I could see that it would be possible to prevent the stingers from getting you. As a diver I have often worn a thin lycra suit. It will prevent the stinging cell of a jellyfish from attaching to you. It was some time back that the Aussie lifeguards and surfers would where ladies pantyhose to prevent the same thing. So it could be possible that there is a lotion that would provide a micro-thin layer, and that is really all one needs. But I think repellant is the wrong term. Fidel
I've seen that stuff on TV. A woman applied it to her arm and then stuck her arm into a small aquarium containing a jellyfish.. she felt nothing. Pretty cool eh?
