pattaya127 Posted May 3, 2004 Report Share Posted May 3, 2004 I think the worse terrorist acts were not the fact of a hundred crazed out guys attacking in the open, but of extremely prepared few individuals who worked in secrecy and provoked boh surprise and havoc before any enforcement was able to intervene (9/11, bali, Spain, and of course Israel and countless other places). These 107 may have been muslim fanatics, who knows, but terrorists of the El qaeda sort, they are not. I suggest the thai govnmt gets its act together (it's El qaeda!.....No, it's gangsters.....No, it's drugged out muslim kids....etc) and gather real intelligence so that Phuket does not become another Bali.
