Go to LOS next yr with 30 000 000 baht guaranteed

Recommended Posts

Very true. As long as you keep in contact with the companies you can be dragging out the saga for years and then give them a SETTLEMENT of 25% of what is owed. They are happy and you are. And you amazingly will still have an OKJ credit rating potentially.

30 000 000 million baht, up in Chaing Mai, Chaing Rai, you could live comfortably and be a well heeled member of the local community.

Belguim Boy,

I wish people would stop worrying about passports, VISA phoning up Thailand to bring you home. It wont happen. All that has occured is that individual A owes credit card companies money. He will have been paying money to these companies for a good 12 to 24 months prior to leaving for LOS. He will have been paying money to them to build up his credit limit, he is a customer who has run in to difficulties and cant pay, end of story.

It is a civil matter, in the UK the government wont get involved. Goodness gracious me there does seem to be a high proportion of worrypots on this board.

UK passports are valid for 10 years and you can renew anywhere where there is a UK embassy.

"VISA phoning up Thailand to bring you home. It wont happen"

YOU CAN'T GUARANTEE THAT.

And it won't be to a lot of separate people that you will owe a huge sum. It will get consolidated or aggregated.

You just don't get it.

"he is a customer who has run in to difficulties and cant pay, end of story." What about CREDIT REPORTS. Assuming your plan works, these guys will see the credit raised in a short time frame. The amounts combined together WILL bring attention. They are not going to ignore it when you start defaulting. When they tackle debts and fraud the companies will go after the large outstanding balances over the small ones. US 5k isn't worth many people's time, but you're advocating close to a million US. People don't take that lying down. That isn't the "end of story". They will not make life esay for you, that's why they issue liens against your assets. When they can't do that because you are elsewhere they will try and track you down. If they are successful (and lenders/consolidators can be relentless - least in the US) it's NOT that hard to write a letter that could very very easily get you persona non-grata status here. And isn't that what it was all about to begin with?

You say you will live a quiet lifestyle, but you will still be communicating with your lenders. Someone will know unless you are a hermit. And it isn't particularly hard to find people in Thailand who would take advantage of information like that about you even if you are the nicest person around.

You keep spouting the same crap without any type of logical rebuttle. Much like a used car salesman. "Little risk" "end of story." "Goodness gracious...worrypots"

Well we ain't buying this lemon car.

You obviously don't have anything more to add cause you keep repeating the same stuff over and over again. It's tiresome.
