Cure for the "Return Home Blues"

OK it may not be a total cure, nothing beats one of those brown little bodies snuggling up to you at night, but it's the next best thing.

On a previous visit, the little one and her friend wanted to karaoke, so we hit the little rooms next to BG7 (along that little soi). When I saw the videos, I thought this would be an excellent way to learn Thai since some videos had the english translation on them. So the sweet little thing bought me a couple karaoke VCD's. They can be so sweet at times. :)

Well I got home, unpacked and forgot about them. Many months later found them under some books and said what the hell maybe now is a good time to learn some Thai. Popped those in the VCR and damn was I pleasantly surprised. I had those cute little things singing to me in farangland. So I emailed the sweet little thing and asked her for more suggestions, she emailed me a list a few days later and I went on ?ethaicd.com? (the banner on this nanaplaza website) and a few days later I had more of that brown eye candy signing to me in farangland. I was in heaven. :grinyes:

If anybody is interest here is my top five (these are all five star ***** for eye candy). And the music is also good.

1. Zaza: Uncensored

2. Kat English: Siamese Kat

3. Rocky Road: Rocky Road (all songs in english, assorted singers/Groups)

4. Zaza: Visa

5. Cover Girls (assorted singers/Groups)

Bonus pick: Beauty Club (assorted singers/Groups)

I have had no problems ordering from ?ethaicd?. They send you an email after your stuff has been shipped along with a FedEx tracking number. The also sent me a tee shirt since I am a valued customer. :hubba:

I can give you my next five if anybody is interested

Important note: you cannot buy the DVD?s from Thailand, since it?s not compatible to our VCR?s players (at least not here in the US :cussing:). Only the VCD?s work.

Also: Duh, this isn?t a good way to learn Thai, unless you know what they are actually singing. :dunno:

I just got a region free DVD player on ebay, $69 and will fit in the side pocket of my carry on. Now, cure for the return to home blues...? No, there isn't one. I was hanging out with Ray Morris and P127 watching video both had taken in LOS, and it really upset me...to know that that is there, and I am here. When it gets really bad, I call someone in LOS and talk for a few minutes, helps, while on the phone, but still depressing when I hang up...

Thanks for the info ... I'd like to try this.

I think my wife has a decent voive; but, she's too shy to sing.

She doesn't touch a drop of alcohol, so I can't use that to

lower her inhibitions.

... but, I've had luck in the past (with others) by 'singalongs.'

? P127, ... I hope you'll allow me to have a peek

at some of the X stuff when we get to meet!

The best cure for the Return Home Blues is to book your next flight back :)

Rather than thinking about how it sucks going back to the daily grind in Farang land, you will be looking forward to that next adventure. I'm not due back until January but I'm already getting excited :D

>I always buy a few porn DVD's featuring Asian girls. <

Random Asian still isn't the same as Thai, in terms of nostalgia value.

Having a good supply of nostalgic BG digital pix, also helps, especially action stuff!

As VCDs, I buy Siriporn and Jintara VCD's.

Tacky, but great for memories
