redwood13 Posted September 29, 2004 Report Share Posted September 29, 2004 Just did a search and found nothing re Valuair so I'll post a bit about my trip to Singapore. It was a good experience. Made rez last Tues. for a Thurday departure with a return on Sunday using their website www.valuair.com.sg Paid by cc and printed out the confirmation email that I received. Just presented this when I checked in at Don Muang in lieu of a ticket. Fare was 4819 Baht inclusive except for the 500 Baht depature fee. Scheduled 16:15 2hr. & 20 min. flight was about 20 min. late departing but we arrived in Sg slightly ahead of schedule. Plane appeared to be a newish A320. Some sort of rice and whatever plus a cupcake for food. Beer is S$4 and softies & snacks S$2 and they take only Sg. money. Cabin crew and ground staff all smiles and very attentive as you'd expect from a new airline trying to win over new passengers.
