prelude
I understand that STDs can be passed by skin-to-skin contact. Does anyone know about risk during a soapy massage?
Redbaron
Herpes could (I guess) be passed on. HIV, Hep etc would be fine I think

kamui
thai3 said: How does the wart virus get thru the rubber, with a black and decker drill?-peter HOW ARE GENITAL WARTS SPREAD? Genital warts are very contagious and are spread during oral, vaginal, or anal sex with an infected partner. They are transmitted by skin-to-skin contact during vaginal, anal, or (rarely) oral sex with someone who is infected. About two-thirds of people who have sexual contact with a partner with genital warts will develop warts, usually within 3 months of contact. Studies do suggest that using condoms may reduce your risk of developing diseases linked to HPV, such as genital warts and cervical cancer. Unfortunately, many people who don?t have symptoms don?t know that they can spread the virus to an uninfected partner. http://www.niaid.nih.gov/factsheets/stdhpv.htm
Nervous_Dog
Thai3 - didn't you write elsewhere about warts? They are not neccesarily IN the vagina, rather around the base of it, near the anus etc. These are areas someones balls are rubbing around etcc during sex, or just having a "FEEL" Hence, wearing a rubber has very little to do with it! thai3
I was thinking of warts caught from inside. Yes too easy to catch, little buggers and not always easy to get rid of-peter
Guest
I didn't realize how nasty warts can be. I got this info from http://www.4woman.gov/faq/stdhpv.htm [color:"red"] "What are genital warts? How are they spread? HPV infection can cause genital warts, benign (non-cancerous) growths on a person's genitals. A woman can develop warts inside and around the outside of the vagina , on the vulva ("lips" or opening to the vagina) and cervix, and around the anus. Genital warts are less common in men and are usually seen on the tip of the penis. They can also be found on the shaft of the penis, on the scrotum, or around the anus. While very rare, genital warts can grow in the mouth or throat of a person who has had oral sex with an infected person. " [/color]
