The old wooden top bar - with curtains below for the girls - has now been replaced with a modern bartop with a solid glass tile front. it looks nicer but you now need to move the stool back into the narrow aisle. And most disconcerting, they have a ceiling fan with every 30 seconds or so gives you a blast of cool air just in the wrong area The couches are still as normal and they now have a solid partition where the bead curtain was with a door leading to the toilet and presumably a private bj area - it was full when i went in. so now its cleaner than it was before but at the bar a lot less private, so if you are shy you will have to wait even longer to go to somewhere private now. you are "on show" everywhere in the main bar now. One thing that has been left out, and sadly will diminish the Stars' brightness, is that the service we all love and enjoy is only available until about 5:00 Pm or so. I was told over many visits since the renovation, that BJ service is only available upstairs, nextdoor, in a short time room once nightime approaches (say it isn't so). Apparently the "men in brown" have forced the change. After word of that sunk in I only returned in the afternoon so cannot verify the change. Sadly (for those blushing with modesty)the beloved chair behind the curtain in the corner is also removed. I also second Ultra67's views on the new bartop arrangement. The curtain was much more comfortable. However there are new lovelies(????) hired and the daytime shenanigans are put out with vigor. Nothing like having a gal and her niece do you together. Cheers.
