Took a Girl there once and i think she almost went through the Menu.......... I'm trying to help Sayjann but I'm confused. You said "near Patpong. Not the Silom end". If not the Silom end then you must mean the Suriwong end? However you also said "Not the silom end, the other end and near the BTS" but the BTS is at the end of Silom - isn't it? Thanks for the replies guys, Glayva is not a creamy drink but a whisky liqueur. Both are firewater imo...both should be served in a brandy balloon so you enjoy the aroma as well... khwaimaisabai
Hi munch, At the Silom end of Thaniya near BTS is O'Reilly's. Across the road in Soi Convent is Irish Exchange, aka Delaneys or Shenanigans in previous periods. Also, opposite Thaniya on Silom is a little place called the Toby Jug. sayjann
methinks i am confused. not familiar with the Patpong area at all, stayed on Silom Rd and only ventured out and about during darkness. come to think of it,it might have been one of the Pedestrian bridges i am thinking of. i just remember walking down a set of Stairs. i was there 4 Years ago and maybe the memory is failing. thanks Khwai.......... Toby Jug leaps out at me and smacks me on the nose..........

stumpy
Hi, have now tried Drambui, very similar to Glayva, hard to say which I prefer. Thanks for the pointer about Drambui and the advice overall. S.

Pat_from_Jersey
drambui? mmm. very strong and very costly! I find I can not mix it with even beer. All or nothing, i guess.. Still, a very nice sideline exclusive drink for the night.. mmm.
