redwood13
Created a new folder "Cultural Attractions in SE Asia" for a number of sites using the latest version of Firefox and now realize that I've got tabs for each of the first five on a bar at the top of the page. How do I close the tabs as I wouldn't want my friends to think I was some kind of intellectual or something :: -redwood
Straycat
i think it's actually not a tab but a button you are referring to -- above the tabs, am I correct? in such case right-click the button, choose "delete". if it is indeed a tab...right-click, choose "close tab". redwood13
Right click didn't show "close tab" but "delete" was there - clicked on that for each item and now I have an empty folder I'll start over tomorrow. -redwood
Khun_Kong
View- Toolbars, then uncheck "Bookmarks Toolbar". That will remove the buttons (ALL of them), but retain the contents of each bookmark folder. You can also "Rename" the button by right-clicking. You can create a user account (in XP) that keeps settings for Firefox only for that account. Logging on to another account would show a generic version of Firefox. Or, you could get your butt over here and stop and stop living your cultural attractions vicariously!
