As for the rest of your questions, do not sweat the details. Any massage parlor/bar/disco/whatever can be good or bad depending on who you hook up with. No one place has a monopoly on "stunna's" (whatever your definition) with good attitudes. Try a bunch of places, dole out a few drinkies to lasses that catch your eye, and see what happens. BTW, I know lots of people write alot about Eden. It is like being in a porn movie ... a bad porn movie. Lotsa fake moaning ... I was bored within 5 minutes (like a bad porn movie). Like you I decided to try it "just to say I had done it". It was a waste. I can have a much better time with 4-5K baht in soi cowboy. Too bad your not coming in a few days earlier as you would have had an opportunity to hook up with a bunch of guys who know a hell of alot more about BKK than I do. I leave for Pattaya on the 16th, so I'll be gone by the time you arrive. Enjoy your stay and post a message for a regular to meet up with you for a few drinks if you think you'll need a co-pilot. But if some place tries to stop you at the door, just shrug it off and go elsewhere. They are the ones who lose money, not you. Sh*t happens, but fortunately rarely. p.s. Lots of good Indian restaurants in Bangkok, and in fact Nana Plaza takes its name from the Indian family that owns the land in that area! (Soi Cowboy gets its name from "Cowboy" Edwards, a black American. In descending order it would be: dress (neat/stylish), joie de vivre (smile), and your wallet. Thus, so long as you present yourself as something other than a tightwad and likely candidate for torture and/or psychoanalysis in national dress you'll have no problems (other than to hit the ground running and best maximize two short days). You may need to go 1500 for a double then no problem with girls. Nice room in MAIN WING. There is a ne massage parlor open 24-hrs in the hotel extension area... ask for Seenoon. They can come up to your room... never pay more than 1500 Bt, but I usually pay 1000 plus the oil massage is extra. Email me if you need more info.
