That is how he can get his nam on the Tabien Ban. he cannot own the land on which it is constructed however. [/color] The name on the Tabian Ban ONLY means the person is the prime person of the house, that is he/she can allow other persons in the house, it is NOT an ownership. My brother (Thai lawyer) just closed a case on such issue last month. This is for information and I am happy to know this angle of the law also. Also, if the husband is falang and the wife is Thai and the house is in her name, can this be done for the falang? Also, are there any benefits in doing this?
