Dexi Posted January 24, 2006 Report Share Posted January 24, 2006 Quite often when I walk past a karaoke bar or similar with girls sitting outside I`m greeted with the call " Mee hairng bor "...saw an ad on TV. last week that made me smile...there is now a drink on the market called " Haing " which comes in a small bottle like M150...so now when I`m asked the question I can whip out my small bottle and reply " Mee "... samak Posted January 27, 2006 Report Share Posted January 27, 2006 i am afraid those are two different pairs of shoes. the question mee haeng bor is Isaan/Lao for mee raeng mai? do you have power/energy? the drinks in small green and orange bottles are positioned as hang over drinks and as the thais have taken over the english word "haeng" or "haeng over" the name of the drink comes from that. IMHO they taste terrible and totally different then the usual energy drink like M150, kratingdaeng (red bull), chalam khaow (white shark) or carabao daeng!
