paul101
Mrs went to the embassy today with all the papers I could think of but was told she needed a lot more emails, phone records and all the pages from my passport. Can this be right just for a visitor visa? I thought you only needed all that for a settlement one. I included all the other stuff, letter of invite, pay slips, bank statement, marriage cert, letter from employer, proof of house ownership and she included all her stuff. Phone records I cannot do can they reject her just on that?
BuffHello
when you are talking about the UK not irish embassy you never know what they will ask for next . some applicants get an easy run some get a hard time . You see a lot of thais dont go home after their visit so they are wary of just about everyone. if they feel like it . very unpredictable outfit down there. paul101
The joke is that the embassy site states no specific documnets required, except letter of invite. Still, she only had to wait a few days for an interview so will know friday

paul101
yes I knew a bloke from thrapston in his 70's then who brought one over after another but they often ran off or married other people once here. Funny thing was they kept letting him bring them, even 20 year olds. I don't think any off them went back.
