khunsanuk
Hi, Ok, running now. Had to use IE to get the download manager to automatically pick up on the link. Download speed sucks again I have a 1Mb connection, yet am downloading at only 5Kb/s Sanuk!
carlton68
you want to enter the link into the download manager manually? Usually they can be configured to catch the download links when you click on it. No need to know what comes behind the .php
khunsanuk
Hi, Yeah, but that didn't work in Firefox for some reason. It did work with IE though. Sanuk!
carlton68
You did install Free Download manager? Go to options - download options - monitoring and check 'Mozilla'. You need to restart Firefox.
khunsanuk
Hi, Thanks, hadn't noticed the Mozilla option there. Sanuk!
carlton68
Yep, that's the nice one. It also works with download links one get via email, when using Mozilla Thunderbird as email client. But it's confusing when configuring FDM. One looks for the option to tick Firefox and it's not there. The IE monitoring should also work with links in outlook express, but I don't care to find out... I hope FDM does get some data from Winboard.org
khunsanuk
Hi, "The IE monitoring should also work with links in outlook express, but I don't care to find out... " Same here, have been using Eudora for years now. No desire to change. "I hope FDM does get some data from Winboard.org" 29% so far. Sanuk!
