Guest
Another perk of bringing your laptop with you to BKK is that you can take it to any one of the technology centers (where computer goods are sold) and get great prices on upgrade parts and software.. etc.. --UPSer

Guest
molarmaker I've had some VERY good luck using my digital camera.. The girls all like being able to see the photo immediately... I even take the camera (the next am) to a photo shop and download/print some for them.. Again... all this helps increase MY 'mileage'... YMMV... --UPSer
monochrome man
I read somewhere about an internet cafe in BKK with a special section for laptop users. Anyone know where it is?
Guest
monochrome man-- There are a lot of IC's along Sukhumvit that have accomodations for laptop users... I can think of two near Thermae that have universal power adaptors and all.. You cna even download you digital pics and print there... --UPSer
Guest
Tried to declare my laptop computer to the customs last year ... but failed! Thai customs at the red door just took a look at my declaration form (with the laptop plus my digital camera clearly declared on it), didn't seem to be interested at all and sent me straight to the green exit.
