AF16
I have absolutely no sense of direction. I have walked quite a long way but don't know where I was or how long it was but I ended up in MBK as planned .... after a long time.
Guest
my longest walk was from Sukhumvit soi 47 to Wireless Road to Silom Road. I got to breathe the smog and was singled out as a dumbass farang. Even the poorest Thai know better than to breathe the smog, they are inexpensive 3.5 baht buses or mini-buses which is even chaeper for the poor. Luckily, my lungs made a full recovery! Old Hippie
Walked from Soi 49 to Soi 11 once, was obsessing on SSG, and didn't even realize it, until the street bars at Asoke diverted my attention...at 4 a.m.

You also have to dodge tuk tuks wanting to take you to Petchburi. Cheers The state you get in most nights any walk is a long way

Bkkbound04
There was one occaission when staying at Ruay Chai apartments, the lift was out of order. The walk up to the 20th floor with my new friend for the night was memorable!! JP
