Guest
Which mobile providers offer service on the 850MGHZ Band. I have a great little phone that is unlocked and would like to use it. I've an AIS number that is good thru 7/2008 but I could give the phone to some little Thai Darling........
WorldFun
I believe DTAC are running dualband 850/1800mhz in some areas of bangkok, so give it a try! Thus your AIS/12call SIM chip won't give you service in your ancient singleband 850mzh phone...
Guest
Never asked about that as to AIS. Actually I use a Moto V66 for AIS and have done so for many years. Great little phone with big scale font and lovely Black and White only which is far more readable in the bright sun of Thailand.... Just bought a back up referbished V66 at MBK for 1500 baht and 2 extra Batts for 300 baht each...... Actually the lil bugger Nokia 6030 is was a free for reuping my contract in the US. I have the Moto Raz with expanded mem car to 1.5 gig and the MP3 Player is great with my Bose Quite Zone 3 noise cancelling headphones. Being a bit of a LOS nut, having Visa/DL and all I spend too much time doing about 150K a year in the air so I need those Bose3 headphones. I love my V66 and would be using it today but there is no MP3 player.......... But of course the MP3 player was not invented when my MOTO V66 came out
