R&R in Cambodia?

Visiting Cambodia is an experience. PP is a very poor city with trash in the streets, potholes all over, many side streets are dirt roads, minimum street lighting so quite dark at night, buildings in decay, etc. It is not a pretty city, but the people are friendly.

I stayed at the Puncak Hotel where $30 got me a large clean room with two double beds and a no-questions-asked guest policy. Hired a car and driver for $20/day to take me all over which I would strongly advise doing as PP is not a city to be out walking around in at night.

Sharky's is one of the nicer places with a fair percentage of girls who speak some English. Martini's is similar to Thermae while K 11 is a unique experience. There are many brothels on streets 63, 154, and 178, plus a bunch of other lesser mentioned places such as Mekong and Mata Hari that your driver will know about.

Don't forget to bring your two photos for the visa.

Do try the FCC for lunch or dinner as well as the many good restaurants across the International bridge.
