Flashermac
<< because there is not much danger of falling in love and spending the whole trip with the first girl. >> Good point! I remember a former board member who ended up marrying the first and only "working girl" he ever met! 'nuff said.
Encore
Yes, a soapy, or one of the other massage parlours that specialise in other things, such as Lotus (the old Baron's) or my favourite, Tulip. Then later in the evening, a gogo girl, probably from SC. Leave Eden till later in the trip, when you want something different.
Torneyboy
I would say a soapy as first choice..
kamui
A Soapy is the best place to start because there is not much danger of falling in love and spending the whole trip with the first girl. I thing a guy needs to get a handle on the magnitude of possibilities. This doesn't help. On my first trip first I went to a soapie (Baron's) and later I spend the rest of the holiday with the first girl I met in a gogo bar. PS: but she was different, really! YimSiam
I was trying to think of which category would be most likely to keep a newbie coming back for more (that being the goal, right?) and of course that has nothing to do with it: of course he'll be back! Unless a freelancer turns out to be a katoey AND robs him, in which case he MIGHT not come back (but probably will anyway...). My first TG was a ST BG in a Patpong bar, and it worked for me. Not my cup of tea these days - I'm a [color:red]Freelancers [color:green]'R' [color:orange]Us! kid nowadays - but BG's probably the best balance for the first. Soapie's too 'clinical', imho.

unit731
First trip. First time. It was late at night. Cab driver from airport took us some place where the mansan had to wake up about a dozen gals. One room. They sat on bench or chairs. Just pick one. I have no idea where I was. Then went onto a hotel recommended by taxi driver. Again, I have no idea where I was. Someplace in Bangkok. I think the cabbie got a cut in both deals. ThaiHome
My first was a topless hand job during a massage at a Batam golf resort. Within a week made first trip to Orchard Tower and went back the next night (without witnesses)and pulled a freelancer. I have been ruined ever since... Had been in Asia for probably 5 years before I had my first paid TG in Thailand TH
