Damen
How did the Chelsa loss to the MLS All stars go over across the pond? Obviously a big deal as far as soccer goes in America (and thats not saying much). It got a decent coverage in the local paper when normally soccer related news would be a two sentence summary buried deep in the sports section. Belem
The MLS team was in better shape physically, as they are in midseason form. Also, the midfield of Ballack, Essien, and Lampard looked cluttered. They definitely need a winger starting. Shev was shite.
Steve
better shape yes, but we're talking yanks here. the ones with the inflated fifa rankings. the ones who think a football is something you throw not kick...surely not those yanks? hehehehe... chelsea is having a tough time of it in preseason but preseason is more about getting fit than wins, just hope liverpool wins the charity shield. each loss adds up no matter what it is, it works slowly on the confidence over time. still they should walk the epl again. i am also curious to see ballack and lamps in the midfield together and see if they form an effective partnership.
