It must be slow day, but here i am sat at the computer snacking on one of those small packets of miniature cola bottle candies,made in Thailand and I notice for the first time the ingredients list on the pack.

The are listed in both Thai and English

and read

Sugar 45%

Glucose 39%

Gelatin 15%

Cola Flavour 15%

Caramel Color15%

plus art. flavouring and cetified art. color.

Now I know that mention has been made on other threads about the unreliability of statistics , but damm these Thais certainly pack a lot into those little bottles -129%

Hi Pete,

if I remember an old Donald Duck magazine the answer is - but it's big.

Now the mystery is even bigger - glucose is a sort of sugar and included in that 45 %.

So where is the missing 10% ???????????

Ok, maybe the answer is - that's why it's so small.

I love these little coke bottle lollies , if they are the same ones we have here in Land of Oz , & I am sure they are .I prefer the ones with sugar sprinkled on the outside , these would be very nearly ...my favourite sweet!! Thats a big call.I would eat them no matter what was in them , nearly.
